An outdoor forest school and outdoor play provision that is very friendly and lots of fun. This session, we will be reading ‘Owl Babies‘Get outside and into nature whilst playing out in a private woods hidden away in Brighouse. The Forgotten 🌳 If you have a little explorer aged 2-8 yrs who loves being outside, bring them along to our Forest School for some outdoor nature related play. These sessions will incorporate the Forest School ethos where sessions are very much child led and we can plan what we can do the week after. We will listen to a story, create a craft and learn about nature. You will be able to explore the woods, make dens, climb trees, make mud pies, create tree sprites out of clay, relax in hammocks, balance on the slack line all whilst enjoying some quality time in nature. We will Enjoy hot chocolate and toast marshmallows around the campfire. There will also be tea, coffee and water available. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements as we can cater for all needs. We look forward to welcoming back familiar faces as well as new. After the wonderful activities, that can be participated in at your leisure there will be a range of activities you and your child can enjoy tree swings, hammocks, bug hunting, loose play/ obstacle course, tree climbing, balancing as well as a few nature and craft activities. This session will run in all weathers but high winds so if it’s raining wear your coat and wellies. Lots of layers are also useful in cold weather. There is lots of shelter in the woods if it does rain. Ideal for walking to any age. Adults and children both pay. It’s £5 per person. Babes in arms are free.
