Get outside and into nature whilst playing out in a private woods hidden away in Brighouse. The Forgotten 🌳 If you home educate and have a child who loves being outside (or you would like to foster a live if outdoors), bring them along to our Forest School for some outdoor, nature related play. These sessions will incorporate the Forest School ethos where sessions are very much child led and we can plan what we can do the week after. There will also be the opportunity to develop skills in a optional task activity that can earn you skills achievements and certificates. Skills will build up in stages and involve tools, fire, nature, knots and fun. We can listen to a stories, create crafts and learn about nature. You will be able to explore the woods, make dens, climb trees, make mud pies, create tree sprites out of clay, relax in hammocks, balance on the slack line all whilst enjoying some quality time in nature. We will enjoy hot chocolate and toast marshmallows around the campfire. We may build up skills to be able to cook on the fire and use the pizza oven too. There will also be tea, coffee and water available. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements as we can cater for all needs. This is a new group and we can discuss ways in which we can improve and meet the children’s wants and needs.
