Anyway, l'Impératrice is uplifting with those fresh, suave and sweet melon notes that come out, which are enhanced with a juicy rhubarb.I sprayed it on a card in Ulta a while back and wasn't a fan, but after reading so much positive feedback online I decided to go back and try it on my skin to see how it wore. A warm base of sandalwood and grapefruit wood brings body and depth to the fragrance, amplified by an enveloping trail of sensual musks. I love it ,but still prefer to used it in a cold weather ,( no matter is marked as a summer scent ) when on me it give freshness and I can feel something super positive and a burst of energy . That way I find it stays perfectly pleasant with lasting power up to 5 hours, while on skin it's about 3 hours.
