About this deal

This power supply arrived at a time before the RTX 4090 and RTX 3090 Ti so it does not come with a 12+4 pin power connector but the PSU supports it thru the power adapter supplied by the graphics card if you own one. All Core Reactor models have two EPS connectors, so they are suitable for high-end mainboards, including those equipped with AMD's X570 chipset. A few years ago, only server mainboards required a pair of EPS connectors. However, the comparatively higher CPU core count with today's high-end processors lead to an increase in the power delivery capacity of the corresponding VRMs and, consequently, power consumption. This means a single EPS connector isn't enough anymore, especially for high-end CPUs like the AMD Ryzen 9 3900x and 3950x. I have never heard of Ant Esports or Gamdias Kratos so I cannot comment other than to say I would look elsewhere. DeepCool also would not be on my short list. The OG one, just Antec Neo Eco Gold - essentially a rebrand of Seasonic Focus GM, seems to be discontinued now Yeah, the conclusion does say "Fan becomes noisy at full speed", but that full speed would only be used when your components take close to 700-800w, and his configuration won't get close to 500w so problem solved, fan won't be noisy.

The image showing the primary circuit is its main control PCB along with an active PFC card and diode on the heat sink. The fan spins at very low RPM during the first four tests, despite the high ambient temperatures. The efficiency levels are high at light and moderate loads, and even with full load, at 45 degrees Celsius ambient temperature, the PSU's efficiency is close to 88%, which is what the 80 Plus Gold requires (at a much lower ambient, however). 20-80W Load Tests I donot care about rgb or non modular or modular. I just care about good enough performance and price. XPG CORE REACTOR SERIES is certified by Cybenetics for its efficiency and noise level, scoring at the top of its category in both ETA and LAMBDA standards. The XPG CORE REACTOR is compact in size due to the combination of high-quality components, a well-thought-out layout, and a new manufacturing process. What's more, its modular design reduces cable clutter and simplifies system building.

PLUS certification is an indication of PSU efficiency. But it is important to note that better efficiency does NOT indicate a better, more reliable, or more stable supply. 80 PLUS does not, as example, indication anything about voltage tolerances and regulation (maintaining output within the allowed ±5% deviations). 80 PLUS also does not suggest better ripple suppression or hold-up times, among other specs. It looks like this; https://www.techpowerup.com/review/chieftec-polaris-psu-750-w/3.html, because it is. Electrolytic: 8x Nippon Chemi-Con (4-10,000h @ 105°C, KY), 2x Nippon Chemi-Con (105°C, W), 1x Nippon Chemi-Con (1-5,000h @ 105°C, KZE), 1x Rubycon (4-10,000h @ 105°C, YXJ) Equipped with All 105°C Japanese capacitors, the XPG CORE REACTOR provides you with reliability and stability. The XPG CORE REACTOR’s DC voltage is maintained within ±2% and reduces ripple and noise by up to 35% for enhanced dependability. Is this what you mean by Gold label on the Antec Neo Eco? https://www.antec.com/product/power/neg650-modular
