Mental wellbeing is something we all have to look after, develop and nourish even when feeling good! It’s good to read also if you know someone who is struggling as it can give you more of an insight to how they are feeling. In February 2021, Alex was appointed by the former Prime Minister as Youth Mental Health Ambassador to the government. Within the first few pages of the book, the talk of Gen Zs and Millennials made me feel excluded as I do not fit into either of these categories.

PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio. I have read many books on mental health but the author is so genuine and transparent, it was truly a joyful reflection experience for me.I think everyone should read this book, it’s sort of like a checklist to make sure you look after yourself well but also it’s a gorgeous book to hold and read!

It helped me make an important life decision because the author spoke about making his own decisions to protect his mental health. He has worked with gold medal-winning Olympic sports teams, Fortune 100 companies, the British Government, and C-suite executive leaders, helping them build healthy, high-performing results.Across his platforms, Alex has become a leading voice in mental and physical health and wellbeing, and uses his platform to make health and medicine more accessible to millennials and beyond. It has just the right amount of theoretical knowledge and studies without being overpowering to the reader. Alex George is a TV doctor, best-selling author, and Youth Mental Health Ambassador to the government. The past few weeks I have felt my anxiety back, reading this over the weekend, made me feel a bit calmer and stronger like a hand a warm hug or chat with a friend. As well as having practical tips and tricks to how to improve your mental health from the moment you open the book.
