About this deal

Except for the slight weight difference and subtle finishing details, the ball is ok. Definitely usable. Can definitely pass for an original molten. But, for the price i paid for, really not worth it. In terms of style, performance, and materials, this is a much superior ball than any of the previous models. We shall look in-depth at what this basketball offers below. Basketball is one of the major sports that are played at a very fast pace. You are on the court trying to get the best out of your mate. You do not want any sort of distractions to break your composure. The first thing to discuss is the incredibly interesting pebbling of the GG7X. The pebbling across the cover has something called ‘consistent touch’, which means the pebbles are perfectly aligned as opposed to the random pebbling we see anywhere else. Technically, this should only result in a tiny difference, but it seems rather fitting for a Japanese ball manufacturer to design the pebbling with such precision. Grip Molten has an intrinsic relationship with British basketball having been partners of the League for 20 years and will continue to play a major role in the development of the game, during the League’s most exciting period of growth. With their passion for the long-term vision of the growth of the game and its impact in communities across the country, Molten align with the League’s proud vision as very strong advocates for inclusion and the unique power the sport has to bring cultures together.

You can go to any sporting store and grab a basketball off the shelf. It will bounce and go through the net, but is it the best one for you? The bounce on the basketball is very consistent. It had ever so slightly more bounce than the Wilson Evolution at 8 psi, but the difference was negligible. It’s premium butyl bladder retains air well and there were no issues with leaky valves or what not. Durability The GM7X doesn’t appear to be quite as durable as some of my favorite indoor/outdoor balls like the Spalding Zi/O or NBA Replica Game Basketball. It is a bit softer, and the constant touch pebbling seems to wear down faster than your normal pebbling. Plus, it doesn’t lose air even after multiple games, and you don’t have to use your pump as often as with other balls. Do you want to hook up with your friends and play a 5 on 5? Then this is surely the one of the best indoor Molten basketballs you can use. However, my biggest complaint about that one is related to the control. If you’re a fast-paced, explosive player, you will have difficulty controlling the ball. Where you play and what you expect from the ball are factors to consider. Knowing what you need from a basketball will help you know if the Molten GG7X is the best one for you. Material Molten has established its name through their dedicated work and close relationship with the governing body for basketball in the world, FIBA. Molten balls are being used in all competition organized by FIBA and some other national competitions. With the seal of approval displayed even on their basketballs, Molten made sure that their brand is recognized by the players.

Last but not least, the cleanliness of the basketball can also affect its grip. Make sure to keep the basketball clean and free of dirt and debris that can affect grip. Weight What I really like about the Molten BG4000 is that it has a built-in butyl bladder. It allows the ball to keep its shape long enough, something that other cheaper balls don’t have. Known as a Giugiaro design, Molten basketballs come with 12 panels. Add in the two-tone coloring and trademark X, and you get a ball that looks as great as it performs. ProsI am glad that Molten have worked on this area and provided the GR6 with an improved rubber cover. Because some of the previous variants of the G series were struggling badly on concrete surfaces. But this basketball works effortlessly both indoors and outdoors. Therefore, the team at Molten came up with a refined design that has some brilliant patch distributions. This will ensure that you don’t lose your focus because the color contrast of the ball is much more apparent. To be the best, you’ve got to beat the rest! Don’t settle for less. Molten sports and outdoors has got all your need to be at the top of your game. Molten Basketballs With a month of the Men’s Championship season already in the books and the Women’s season tipping-off this weekend, Molten’s BG4500 National Elite basketball will be used across both Leagues' major competitions. Molten’s branding will also feature at all arenas throughout the season, including all major Finals and the All-Star Games, they will also continue to sponsor the prestigious British Basketball League Player and Coach of the Year awards.

The Japanese brand is the official supplier of sports balls for the Olympic and FIBA games. You also won’t have any trouble separating the GG7X from other basketballs. It boasts a 12-panel design that makes it easily distinguishable. Another nice thing about the design is the two-tone coloring. Looking like an ‘X’ from the side, the balls spin is very clear when it flies through the air. This actually makes it quite nice in training, where you might want to see the amount of rotation during your shots. Bounce Now that you’ve read the Molten GG7X review, you know that if you want the best indoor basketball, you can’t go wrong with the Molten GG7X. It boasts a durable construction, good grip, and plenty of bounce.

The Inspiration!

Anyone in a men’s league, ages 13 and up, is required to play with a size 7 ball. Women’s and children’s leagues typically play with a smaller, size 6 basketball. Molten GG7X Basketball Review
