His last known location is Aplana Island so that’s where she’s headed but first she needs money. Alistair is in Boston hoping to meet up with someone when a girl with blue hair catches his eye and now he has to have her. Little do either of them know this won’t be the last time they see each other. The stories about the boogeyman were true, it appeared, only I learned then that most monsters weren’t the hideous creatures they’d been painted as. So often, they were just humans who let their flaws dictate their beings.” Honestly, these characters have become some of my favorites, they are entertaining and entertaining. I love how different each character is, but it somehow connects them to previous books and characters. I’m waiting until we get MORE King’s Trace connections though… JUST SAY. In Oaths and Omissions Lenny is the daughter of Jonas’ biggest enemy so of course when Lenny figures it out she agrees to a fake relationship, except, maybe there is more to it. However, neither one of these characters can trust freely after their pasts have damaged them.

Arrows and Apologies is based on the Greek myth of Apollo and Daphne, there’s a nice connection to the myth and the name of the dog… Just… BTW.

I read this book in less than A Day. I’ll read it again… definitely. Do I really need the special editions of this series? Yesterday! This book cements Alistair Wolfe’s place on the list of deliciously evil book buddies. Ruthlessly ruthless, he has only one weakness: an attraction to Cora he can’t seem to shake. During your commute: If you take public transportation or have a long commute, you may find it helpful to use that time to read. This story is inspired by Helen of Troy. Lenny is a badass female character who will do whatever it takes to keep control over her own life. She’s not afraid to get her hands dirty, protect herself, and find a way to stop the plans her own family has for her life. Jonas is smart, vicious, and yummy. We love his possessiveness and darkness just as much as we love to see the secretly sweet side of him. I didn’t think I’d experienced the unconditional love I’d been looking for. But just because someone doesn’t love the same way as you doesn’t mean they love you any less.”The intro…when they meet, their kiss and everything that followed in the alley of their bar will forever live free in my mind. This story is inspired by Hades and Persephone. Kal is an interesting character that really keeps you interested in finding out more about him. Elena is a strong character that seems like she won’t put up with anyone’s bull crap. The tension between these two is amazing. This gritty read has the best ingredients: high-speed romance, suspense to the brim, and fast-paced action. Inspired by the story of Apollo and Daphne, I particularly liked the Easter egg references to the myth. When news breaks the next day about their night in the city, including an awful accusation against Aiden, Riley needs to go in hiding or risk being found by her greatest enemy, and she doesn’t even have a chance to explain. Aiden however, won’t be letting this go anytime soon and he’ll find a way to get his hands on Riley again. Oh, what a tangled web Alistair Wolfe has spun for himself. Things get even more complicated for the mayor of the island of Alpana when a mysterious blue-haired beauty enters his life.
