About this deal

Our TT mount is a great example here, it is solely designed for 3D printing, it has sold over 3000 units, and it is used by professional triathletes and cycling teams worldwide. Industrial designers with over 30 years experience between them, they're also avid cyclists with a passion for all cycling disciplines. The Micro Piggy proved to be a nice addition for local gravel rides around my home town of Dawson Creek, where a frame bag wasn't really that necessary.

Clip' modules available for GoPro, Exposure Trace, band-on lights (universal), and blank cover supplied as standard. We recommend the mount be placed behind your hands whilst in riding position and angling the head unit for perfect viewing. I am fairly set on using a frame bag for bikepacking, and unfortunately that leaves me wondering where I'd put the Micro Piggy. Standard widths 60mm to 100mm (TT Race mount)/65mm to 105mm (TT Modular mount), 50-90mm (TT Mount 3. As a company, they have continually invested in people, equipment, software, and premises which has added genuine value to our business.I tested their strapless top tube bag way back and found this to be a very convienient system for stopping floppy bag syndrome and portability but now they’ve transfered this technology to what most dyed in the wool cyclists would refer to as a saddle bag. Extra-wide brackets are available for widths 90mm to 130mm bars centre to centre (68-108mm inside to inside).

When it happens to me it’s usually because I’ve forgotten to check that there is still enough sealant in the tyre. This provides a forward-thinking solution to the annoyingly common problem of clogged-up tubeless valves. Although the valve core is not removable, this is not an issue as the Hi Flow design means you can push tubeless sealant through the valve without it getting blocked at all; there's no need to carry a valve core remover or spare valve cores for when a typical Presta tubeless valve core gets bent or clogged up.

The clearances in a Presta valve are smaller than the holes that sealant is supposed to be able to block so it's no surprise that the valves get clogged. I liked that I can carry almost all the essential items I needed on the bike, especially for shorter rides. You can either seat the tyre without sealant and then pump sealant through the valve, or seat the tyre with sealant in. Instead of just using a typical Velcro strap to attach the Little Piggy to a frame we developed silicone rubber pads which are both super grippy and add shock absorption.

They improve pumping efficiency and they don't clog up, exactly what's needed in a pair of tubeless valves. It took me a few years and about 35,000km of cycling the world to ditch my (larger volume) pannier setup in favour of more compact luggage. And just when we think there isn't an inch of space left for even a Snickers bar, in comes the Micro Piggy by 76 Projects. For positioning, I opted for the top of my top tube, since my v-brake cable routing prevented me from placing it underneath. Building on previous versions that have been used by world, Olympic, and Ironman champions the latest 3.but given the efficiency of tubeless systems I’d check that the spare inner tube hasn’t perished before you go on a long wilderness ride! The ethos of 76 Projects is to create performance oriented cycling products that offer a genuine advantage over anything already in the market.

You can replace it, but it's not 'removable' in the usual sense, because of the way it has to be pushed through the valve and out of the outside of the rim – it can't be removed while the tyre is seated. When it gets warmer and I want to carry more fluid I can move the mount up to give the second cage more clearance. Why spend all that money on a bike fit working on getting your head down out the wind if your Computer Mount puts your device into a position that’s hard to look at while you are riding? It is meant for securing smaller objects to the frame, such as tools, an inner tube, or—as I discovered—snacks! Manufactured in-house using our Multi Jet Fusion industrial 3D printer and shot peened for surface toughness and quality. Extra-wide brackets available for widths 90mm to 130mm bars centre to centre (68-108mm inside to inside). Since fitting the valves, I've not had any issues with pumping the tyres – a typical sign of valves being bunged up with sealant. However, the biggest change since then is the use of PBF 3D printing as a feasible production solution.
