The simplest solution is to build switches into each tap. Of necessity, the switches need to be small and so the makers use microswitches. In time the constant switching of the pump current (2-4 amps) can cause microswitches to fail. If this happens, a workaround is to go to another tap and turn it on just enough for its microswitch to operate.

The questions go along the lines of :”Even though my taps are closed, the pump in the Aquaroll continues running”; “My pump pulsates on and off when I open a tap”; and “I can’t get constant warm water for a shower because the water keeps going from cold to hot every few seconds”. Today, Alde's boilers use the same principle and are at the forefront of efficient design. They have mushroomed in popularity over the last few years. Readjusting the pressure switch to the high voltage available to stop this pulsating will cause the pump to fail to turn off when a lower voltage is available.Submersible pumps use water to lubricate the impellorbearing, which is why it's important not to let them run dry for more than a minute or so. They are simple, reliable and relatively cheap and, for these reasons, have dominated the touring caravan market for many years. Yes, you can continue to return items as normal as long as you follow the government guidelines about leaving your house. Opened hot tap, turned control power on, Truma combi boiler panel on and set to 8amps in summer mode, switched on pump. Thanks Derek. Have saved a copy of that exploded view for future reference. Suspect this might not be the last issue I have with the pressure switch.

Electrical Equipment

After about another 10 seconds, press and hold the calibration button on the IC unit until the LED turns solid green. The pump should stop running after a further 10 seconds or so. Turn on each cold tap individually and ensure that the pump turns on when you open the tap and off again when you close it.
