Each Mixling has special magical powers that are activated with the included magnetic, glow in the dark or pippette wand. From a quality standpoint, it seems to be made relatively well. There are several parts made put of cardboard that definitely won't last long. All our toys need to be bath and outdoor worthy, so I would probably just remove them if she played with it more. There are also some places that the paint is coming off already, which is disappointing given how little it's been used. Overall I'd say it's a "meh" for us. It's cute enough but there are some quality issues, and once you've figured out all the "surprises" it's just another toy playset.
