Every fight (and I must make clear that fights are never my favorite part of any manga) seemed to follow the same structure, with Tanjiro shedding tears while we got a glance of the demon's backstory. The story of Tanjiro and his quest to regain his sister Nezuko's humanity after she was turned into a demon is interesting, to say the least. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba“ fängt im Gegensatz zum Anime weniger spannungsgeladen an durch stark gekürzte Szenen und einen einfachen Zeichenstil. Erwähnenswert ist hier, das Tanjiros Weg alles andere als die gewöhnliche, altbekannte Heldenreise ist. Tanjiro schafft es jedoch, in davon abzubringen und schwört, selbst ein starker Dämonenjäger zu werden und seine Schwester wieder in einen Menschen zu verwandeln.

Am Ende befindet sich das Artwort auf einem weitaus höheren Niveau und die Kampfszenen sind dynamisch und gut inszeniert. Overall I enjoyed this purchase not only for the enjoyment of the series but also for the impressive artwork so a lot of appreciation for the creator of the show Koyoharu Gotouge hard work and dedication.

This box set contains all 23 volumes of the global hit Demon Slayer as well as an exclusive booklet and a double-sided poster.The artwork, storytelling, light-hearted moments, sad moments, I haven’t had this much emotion reading something and all I can say is Gotouge did an amazing job with this world and story. These demon attacks are rare enough that the general population doesn't really think they exist and the government doesn't seem to do anything about it. Starting as always from the negative I would remark the main aspect of the story: the empathy for everyone that is embodied by Tanjiro. Though of course, it can be enjoyed by any age, I wouldn't recommend it for younger children as there is a lot of violence and death that they might find disturbing. if it were possible) since the aspects I disliked outweight the good stuff, and some of the greatest aspects became negative at some point in the story.
