About this deal

When i got the samples, all Iris Fauve, Rose Omeyyade , Lune Feline and Rouge Saray stood up to me the most. Official notes: cardamom, cinnamon, pink pepper, ambergris, woodsy notes, styrax, cedar, green notes, Tahitian vanilla, Peru balsam, musk I haven’t tried anything by Atelier des Ors yet. I do have a sample set coming my way , it’s just taking longer than usual , due to the circumstances…I would love to win Lune Feline, it sounds so right for me!

Until recently, at the Bouteille perfumery in Cannes, an advertising lady from Atelier des Ors gave me a splash of Lune féline. I thought I'd be catapulted at the speed of light to Dr. Landau and my inhalations. Lune Feline opening and dry down are very different. It starts with a blast of red pepper, almost makes me sneeze, but later becomes cozy sweet woody fragrance . I’d say it’s my third favorite Atelier des Ors.At some point I gave up trying to impress her with "Lune Féline", left my treats behind - and found a dead mouse in her place. His French sounded strange, his German too, my father told us it was Saxon. While a French doctor has no problem writing his patients a whole bar of antibiotics and paracetamol booms on the prescription, Landau always relied on the "self-healing powers". My mother still can't pronounce the word. Disclaimer: Lune Feline provided by Atelier des Ors. Much appreciated, and right at home in my growing, curatorial vanilla collection. Thank you.

Lets talk profile. In the air, Lune Féline smells incredible - it is probably the closest you will ever get to a cardamom pastry. It smells 1:1 with bakeries that I've been to, if not better, as there are hints of vanilla and cinnamon in the air that complete the blend. Lune Feline Eau de Parfum is decadent vanilla fragrance with spicy, woody accents and a dark, animalic presence inspired by the wonders of the moon, powerfully mysterious, attractive, fascinating and seductive. But "Lune Féline" doesn't contain any valerian or anything else that affects my neighbour's cat, which I chose as a test object. The prelude to Cat Moon just barely scrapes by cat pee for my nose. It smells sour and slightly pungent. Only gradually changes with me the thought of Katzenpipi in the direction of säuerlich-harziges incense and in the further course I still think of slightly sour, freshly cut wood. The vanilla takes its time. On the first day it takes but actually 1 1/2 hours until I notice that it will not remain only with this sour note. Slowly rolls up quasi from behind a vanilla cloud, which from the beginning suggests its beauty: warm, soft, dark, creamy and little sweet. Only unfortunately, it doesn't manage to finally displace that tart, resinous woody pile. From now on, I have on my skin quasi a "little tree-change-you" game: sometimes wood pile, sometimes beautiful vanilla. It may be due to the warm summer that "Lune Féline", as a winter fragrance, does not give a hint of anything bright or green on my skin, that the base already appears in my head and competes with the outside warmth.

Sillage: It's a bit hard for me to rate this still, even after 2 days of full-wears, but I believe the EDP is a 6 - it will be noticeable for 3-4 hours at arm's length; the extrait is likely to get at least 6 hours at arm's length, I'd give it an 8. The second bit is transitional and clarifying, like getting a lens in focus or like getting adjusted to the dark; life comes from both the fragrance itself (which starts to warm up with rounded resins and sweeter spices) and from my own expectations being met, as the formula divulges bits you’d want at this point: hard woods, salty stones, and open air on one hand, and fur, herb tea, leather handles, and potted plants on another. One dissolved a bubble tablet Pérubore in hot water, got a towel over the head and had to inhale the vapours. Pérubore smelled for me as a child gentle and powdery after a vanilla, exotic tree from a distant magic forest of the Incas. Other perceived notes: petrol, wet stones, geranium flowers, wax, sugar, metal, smoke. I am intrigued by the notes perceived notes petrol, wax, smoke and metal. My favourite from this house is Rose Ommeyade. Thanks a million from the United Kingdom

life comes from both the fragrance itself (which starts to warm up with rounded resins and sweeter spices) and from my own expectations being met, as the formula divulges bits you’d want at this point: hard woods, salty stones, and open air on one hand, and fur, herb tea, leather handles, and potted plants on another.” In certain medieval books, the panther is shown as a wonderfully beautiful beast. The gentle beast sleeps for three days after feasting, only to wake up with a loud roar, and while it is roaring a sweet smell comes out of its mouth. Any animal (except the dragon) that hears the roar follows the sweet smell to reach the panther. Only the dragon stays away, hiding in a hole because it is afraid of the panther. Then the panther chooses its prey, and the cycle repeats. The composition opens on vibrant accords of warm spices melting with intense and precious woods at its heart. A dark, animalistic quality based on vanilla pods and sensual orchid warmed with bright balsamic notes and musky accords resonates, accentuating the rich, gourmand trail. Conclusion: even though I can perceive the vanilla after about 30 minutes on the second day of testing, the sour wood pile spoils the fragrance for me in such a way that despite beautiful vanilla, there is no desire whatsoever to want to own this fragrance. Bottle: It's the same bottle, to me it's an 8 - on par with Roja, Amouage etc. I might be giving them too much here even.
