About this deal

Her only accessories are a pair of handcuffs, as in this scene she was captured by Cad Bane, which may explain her indignant face! It’s worth noting that the ship doesn’t have to be in landing mode to be on display, as it balances on a flat surface in both landing and flight mode. The ingenious Bad Batch was introduced during Star Wars: The Clone Wars and possesses varied abilities, surpassing normal Clone Troopers. This impressive squad now appears during their own animated series, following the foundation of the burgeoning Galactic Empire.

His face print features the injured eye, as well as extensive scarring on the left side of his face. Monkie Kid 80054 Megapolis City: 10 Reasons That This Middle-Aged AFOL Is Excited! November 7, 2023 Space is available for one minifigure and these handlebars are also adjustable, matching the BARC Speeder. The thrust pods match the original vehicle and the round exhaust looks good too, situated beneath the driver. This model also includes a vacant clip behind the seat, where minifigures can attach their weapons while riding aboard the speeder. There are some exposed colourful Technic elements behind, but I don’t mind too much as covering them up would’ve significantly reduced the already limited space in this section. The two speeders are included because we wanted to add some extra value to the set. We know that the speeders will be seen in the show, however, we do not know exactly in which context they will be seen. I guess we will have to wait and see like everybody else. We also love Gonk droids, so we are excited too, and happy that we were able to include one here."

Minifigures [4] – Cad Bane and Omega are excellent figures, but could have had a couple more figures given the reused Hunter and Fennec Shand minifigs. An opening cargo container is also available for accessories and can be removed fairly easily, providing space for another minifigure when necessary. The additional seat is not displayed in any official images but was presumably intended, otherwise this container would be integrated more closely. This option is definitely appreciated, despite the tight squeeze! While it’s not reasonable to expect a UCS-style vehicle that’s “properly” minifig-scale (as variable as the definition for that may also be), the minifigs that accompany this set dwarf the shuttle itself. Senior Graphic Designer Madison O'Neil on creating those amazing new minifigures -- including a revealing look at Crosshair. Additionally, employing this element enables the canopy to open smoothly, although access is restricted by the dorsal wing. Fortunately, another method is available. The boarding ramp and entrance are not functional, inevitably, but they are represented by one dark bluish grey 2x2 tile which seems appropriately distinctive among the surrounding components. Cad Bane comes with his two blaster pistols, and is just a great figure all around. His exclusivity to this set will undoubtedly be a huge draw.

And … that’s all the minifigs. If you’re caught up on The Clone Wars enough to be watching The Bad Batch as it airs, a key character is clearly missing from the minifig assortment: Omega. Five minifigs make sense for the price point, and of course, we would want all members of the original Clone Force 99, but the set feels incomplete without this new character. Conclusions & recommendation I understand these moving parts are necessary to make the mechanism work but I would’ve preferred it to be covered or disguised a bit better. This is not a new minifigure, as he previously appeared in last year’s Bad Batch Shuttle set but he’s still a nice minifigure though, and I like the printed details on his gunmetal grey armor. The fourth minifigure in the set is Cad Bane himself, who makes an awesome return to LEGO form with new pieces and prints. One weak point in the wing is this section, as the rear part of the wing is only attached with one stud on this hinge, and so grabbing the rear wing can feel a bit weak.

Alternative hair pieces accompany these minifigures and each character includes an exclusive head, distinguishing them from standard Clone Troopers. Hunter's facial tattoos and headband are both included, although this headband is hidden under the hair element. Tech looks perfect though, featuring his trademark goggles and a quizzical expression on the reverse. The design shares fitting similarities with other Clone Trooper minifigures. Underneath is just a clip to store an extra spring-loaded missile, which can be mounted into the missile launcher on the ends of each wing. While it feels like this space could’ve been used for more storage, most of the space here is unfortunately taken up by the landing mechanism. Many fans will probably buy this set for Cad Bane, but I still think the minifigure selection could have been improved. While Hunter and Fennec are both very relevant to the scene, the fact that they’re both reused figures is kind of disappointing for a set at this price point.I was honestly surprised when I finished the model as this section definitely looks like it needs a few more pieces to finish it off. The nose of the shuttle in the source material consists of a number of converging slopes, with sloped Briggs and hinged creating a variety of shapes on the front of the craft. SNOTwork. (Studs not on top) to the sides she’s the sides slope inwards as well, resulting in a relatively smooth nose. The forward cabin sits two minifigures, one in front of the other. From here, we work on the rear cabin, which attaches to the front via several technic pins.
