About this deal

Indeed; a US penny works very well, and pennies are usually used to base 15mm minis - a bit out of scale but probably would work for representation. If Con-Tac isn't available, something comparable will be, and having the Kittrich part numbers allows saying to the clerk, "I want something like this! It will take a couple of days, but like the others have mentioned use weight to flatten out the mat. If there's some set-in still left it's USUALLY okay and will wash out eventually IME with regular use and regular wiping down, just don't leave the initial pen marks to set.

I've learned that using a yard stick to draw with really makes a difference in the appearance, as well. The tiles were a good combo of customisation and visuals, but took a significant time to set up in the middle of a game.Test them out on a corner and let the ibk stay for a couple days and then try and erase and see how it goes. Instead you need to use water-based -overhead-projection pens to draw layouts on the surface of the Battlemat. I use wet erase markers, and from time to time I spray them with my wife's bleach cleaner to remove the residue. Get yourself a large piece of graph/hex paper, cover it with Clear Contact Paper (translucent, vinyl shelf liner), front and back, to waterproof it. Better to have a small permanent blemish on the edge of the mat than a permanent map drawn on the entirety of the mat!

In IMT threads, members of our community can promote their own work, including commercial projects and crowdfunding. durable and persistent: paper sheets work fine, yes, but they're one-use only, and I have to redraw the grid for each new sheet. Ah yes, my friend the other DM advised that regardless of what you use, if for some reason it is really stuck on there you can use cheap beer as a cleaner and it works very well.Sometimes during a campaign, if i'm using a laminated map, i'll lay it on the chessex map before rolling. I generally don't draw anything until right before a fight, then erase it immediately after with a spray bottle and paper towels. It is simply unclear writing by Gygax and others that makes people think there's rules behind the curtains. Roll20 also has those pre-made clear covered map boards that are able to be taken where ever you game.

The consensus is that until the rainbow mark fades, whatever the current map is, there will be a prismatic wall in that location. But I figure that I could just keep some wet wipes and some paper towels with a small trash can close by. Featuring a soft vinyl surface, these mats allowed gamers to create their own game using the blocks or hexes throughout the map. As for the curling, I either put stuff on the corners or simply lay it facedown for an hour before the game and most of the curling disappears. I figured I can start with the 26 * 23 1/2 inches of the standard Chessex battlemat, but advice is welcomed.
