But this is Gorgeous! I’ve never owned the original Chanel Coco, so I cannot compare. But that said, I definitely recognise the smell.Now for the scent; it opens with a very pleasant fruity smell (like a fruit salad) and a hint of bergamot. It smells relatively natural (unlike the middle eastern clones), but you can smell the alcohol for a few seconds. It dries down into a woody musk with a hint of vanilla. It's very fresh and not particularly smokey. I won’t buy No. 5 today due to its being a shadow of itself but my chief memories of it stem from a bottle I had of the eau de toilette splash I was gifted in the early nineties which would have been a 1980s formulation. Vogue is definitely a very respectable clone for that version of No. 5 (in fact it is closer in spirit to the 80s version – today’s No. 5 is the one that smells like the poor quality dupe to me). There are cheap perfume dupes on sale for the likes of Chanel, Jo Malone, Chloé, Dior, Marc Jacobs and more for a reason. You will not believe how similar these dupes can be, considering they smell very similar and cost much less. They released three scents—Lime, Basil & Madarian, and Freesia & Pear—but the Pomegranate is the one reportedly modeled after Jo Malone's Pomegrante Noir Cologne. Daisy by Marc Jacobs has established itself as a contemporary classic, competing with favorites from brands like Chanel and Jo Malone. But now, beauty company Avon has released a fragrance dupe that smells exactly like the original and costs only a quarter of the price.

I recently did a side-by-side test of The Man Silver and the current version of Kouros, the version you find in store. OCCASIONS: Formal events, outdoor gatherings, gym, sports, office, business, casual, holidays, vacations, romantic, dating, clubbing. This is an office-friendly fragrance. Modern Kouros opens well, but its drydown is dissapointing if you liked the old Kouros. You might like it in its own right, but it's not like the original Kouros. I can’t believe this took time to be in the database tho, well maybe it’s Cos there are so many Fragrances inspired by “Aventus” ps: taking this time to also say that Angel and BO/NF are like cousins, but Angel is the sweeter one. they’re all both on rotation!Thierry Mugler might have the edge design-wise, but we can’t believe the Milton Lloyd version costs less than a fiver. The spritz has gained cult status due to its blend of citrusy notes that develop into sweet florals and deep musks. But this one is beautiful. I am thinking about buying the real thing (Coco edt) but on the other hand I am thinking why would I if this one is so great. Everyone wants to smell nice, right? Do you choose perfume based on its fragrance, its quality or brand? We have selected a list of top ... sillage/projection/longevity go toe to toe, and everyone I wear it around loves it. and a hot take from me: I love the aerosol format. allows me to spray it on my coats efficiently and that saves me the trouble of spraying it on myself at times. very easy to overspray but I’m used to precision hairspray work so we’re good w that 🤭
