About this deal

As for those complaining of weak projection/longevity, I think you may have become nose blind to it. About 1 h after spraying extreme on my wrist, it appeared as though it was getting really weak on my skin. Then I smelled the original SB, which I happened to have sprayed after a shower twice on my chest – I could not smell the original SB at all anymore! Normally, original SB lasts over ~5 hours with 2 chest sprays, which made me realize my nose was definitely becoming blind to both fragrances. For those curious, I just bought SB extreme recently, and it is manufactured in July 2023. As it settles, some of the notes blend further together, but all of the coniferous tones are smoothed out by the sweet resins, and the patchouli is obvious to my nose. It's a spice-chouli, but it also smells slightly like Mon Guerlain (don't take this the wrong way, it's still decidedly masculine), because there's a lavender undertone in here, and the "benzoin" smells more like vanilla to me (sometimes this happens in blends). I think the pairing is incredibly effective, and it might not be a popular opinion, but I quite enjoy this trend on perfumes lately. Lavender+vanilla (maybe courmarin) is AWESOMENESS. I have tried this twice. The older batch smelled like freshly-spinning cotton candy and it was so sweet it made me nauseous. I wrote off any Spicebomb for a few years because I tried this first and it was "the peak" of the line. NightVision EDT was also a disappointing candy apple and tree mixture. Infrared EDP? Just throw some cinnamon on NightVision.

If you didn’t like the original night vision.. don’t worry try this one out, it’s a complete different vibe. This comes very close to some perfumes, I find designers very very boring these days since they are very similar to each other, although this one is the best in his kind and with his kind I mean: Opening is spicy, sweet, and fruity. I can smell all the individual notes from the first spray, but the strongest off the top are the cinnamon, saffron, and red fruits. After about an hour after spraying the tobacco and vanilla-ish benzoin become more noticeable. It stayed that way through the rest of the dry down. I chose this fragrance after smelling countless colognes in my lifetime and never really being keen on anything, as most of the time they all sort of start smelling the same. This one was different- it almost has this cinnamon - vanilla undertone that really is unique, seductive, and rich. I also have to commend Viktor & Rolf on their product design- it’s a beautiful bottle. What is all the hate about? Its very clear to me that all the haters of the original voted on this scent before they actually smelled it. There is no sensible explanation for the above ratios on this scent. The only way you don't like this is if it doesn't work with your skin chemistry, your are not into spicey frags or certain notes which are highlighted in this or you simply have bad taste. lol.

Even so Eros has Candied Apple in the opening Night Vision has an even stronger gourmand sweet minty candy apple vibe with definitely a creamy pistachio nut undertone where Eros has more bakeshop vanilla within the sweetness. Both come through as being bold statement frags letting those around you know that you came to have a good time and look sexy and confident doing it. Sillage: Draw, although great projection until the mids neither of these frag are beast mode I found that sillage in both to be reasonably close and better than most.

Eau de Toilette

I just recently traded something else for this after testing it for a few months, and I absolutely love this stuff. I think there is something in the opening that I'm missing out on though (something I'm noseblind to), because I spray it on and for the first 5 minutes it's very weak, and then it gradually gets stronger thereafter. Longevity is strong, and lasts almost all day. I never seem to grow anosmic of Spicebomb Extreme, which is great. I enjoy this fragrance all day. In conclusion: The original Spicebomb is a lot better than the Extreme version when it comes to overall performance. The OG is unique for its rich and spicy scent. Spicebomb Extreme gets rid of that characteristic, turning it into a mediocre fragrance.
