About this deal

I have this and the EDT and I much prefer the EDT, this for some reason on me has most of the same DNA of the EDT with the tobacco and cardamom but imo this has some strange cucumber type note that is too overwhelming to me, I guess it could be the basil or the coriander ? There are others that will do it for you, like Aventus, Eros, Tom Ford Noir Extreme, Bleu De Chanel EDP, even Ultra Male or Sauvage Elixir if you wanted to (just dial down the sprays a little), but not this one. So, I like this and it smells on me exactly the way it is supposed to, but when I walked into my girlfriend's place wearing it, she hated it vehemently and when I asked her to give it a few minutes and smell my wrist, she held her nose and ran away in the bathroom.

As it stands, though, it is hard to find much fault with the original EDT, especially considering its versatility. I've been told by my girlfriend that when she smells this it's the only thing she wants to wear, so make of that what you will. PS: remember, there will always be a "newer" and "better" fragrance, enjoy the ones you have in the meantime. I enjoy this fragrance a lot, sadly i can’t find it anymore, sadly I’m 1/3 of the bottle done and I’d like to get another one or replace it with something similar. I was at a bar hanging out with a friend recently, the girl next to me was on a date and kept blowing him off to talk to me (I'm a 4 at best).

The bottle design of The One EDP is sleek and sophisticated, with a rectangular shape and a black lacquered finish that reflects the luxury and refinement of the fragrance.

Had a bit more wow factor when I first smelled it, but after having it for a while and smelling more fragrances I'm a little less impressed. I actually prefer the EDT because I find it gives the perfect balance between amber depth and grapefruit ginger freshness. I love Dior and Chanel but many of their fragrances project strong, which I enjoy for a night out or special date. While we strive to provide accurate and helpful information, we cannot guarantee the complete accuracy or reliability of the AI-generated pros and cons. Sexiest perfume ever, not so versatile for general use but totally suits date nights or going to a wedding, or especially entering the mosque. I cannot smell grapefruit but I do get a vanilla sweetness in here somewhere even though it's not on the notes. The base notes of The One EDP are a mix of woody and oriental accords, including cedarwood, vanilla, and musk, that add depth and complexity to the scent.

I thought exactly the same until 2 people told me they could pick up the scent from a good 6 feet away. While The One aims to be a number one choice for dating, its weak performance means it's unlikely your partner will even notice you're wearing it.

The flankers aren't great performers either, but they turn into skin scents so they're perfect for date nights - the EDT just vanishes. Whilst sweet, it’s not cloying or headache inducing like some trendier fragrances, but doesn’t really smell outdated or mall-like to me. VERSITILITY: edp suits for the cold/chill weather (too cloying in high heat) while edt is safe for all seasons. I'll add that, out of those two, the EDP is less formal leaning to me, which isn't necessarily what you'd expect. I immediately get the cardamom, amber, and tobacco, with just a bit of the grapefruit, ginger, and cedar underneath.

Fun Fact: "The One" is the only scent from the company endorsed by both Dolce and Gabbana, who are famously at odds over ginger levels in their fragrances. It's like if James Bond went through a goth phase and started wearing black leather and listening to Nine Inch Nails. This fragrance is a delightful choice for a romantic date night, offering lasting power without overwhelming projection, creating an inviting aura for your sophisticated partner. Its so nice to finally find a darker/cool weather/nighttime/date night fragrance that isn't a sickly sweet vanilla bomb. The cardamom, amber, and tobacco are still the stars of the show, but the cedar has been dialed up to provide a nice woodiness in contrast. Maybe I've been spoiled by some other fragrances like spicebomb extreme, noir extreme parfum and gentleman reserve privee (which are all significantly warmer and longer lasting)?
