Upon completion, I must say that I was highly satisfied with how they turned out. They feel great on my arm. They are very durable, and really work with the rest of the costume. Overall, it’s quite fun to use, and I’ve spent plenty of time at home with it equipped, taking shots at targets whenever the mood strikes. Assuming there are other accessories or costume pieces, kids will enjoy fighting crime as Batman. Believe it or not, when the gloves debuted in Detective Comics # 27, they were purple-colored. And there was nothing out of the ordinary about these gloves apart from the color. The gloves then evolved into Batman gauntlets for the first time in Detective Comics # 31 and extended just a little bit beyond the standard glove length.The Gauntlet won’t be setting any performance records. I wanted the gauntlets to look more squared rather than round, so I also developed a middle strip to connect the top and bottom. The inside was shorter as I needed room for my arm to bend. The outside came to a point to connect the two sides at the elbow in more of a spike look. All in all, one could surmise that Robert Pattinson’s Batman listens to My Chemical Romance as he rides through the darkness in his Batmobile. Possibly with his bangs flying in the wind. Alongside this wealth of information, we’ve now been given a closer look at 2022’s Batsuit, alongside some insights into its creation from The Art of The Batman. I sat down to design a gauntlet based on several concept drawings I found on the Internet. This drawing was what I came up with. This Batsuit may not be a gleaming ideal, but it remains a core part of what makes Batman, Batman. He’s starred in comics, leapt onto the silver screen, taken on camp, drama, and even appeared in musicals. But despite his ever-changing form, three iconic Batmanfixtures have emerged over time: Batman’s Batsuit, Batmobile, and Batcave. And so, when a new Batman emerges from the darkness, as Robert Pattinson’s has in 2022, the first questions we have to ask revolve around these three Batobjects. Warner Bros. Once the base form is done is where the fun begins. This is where you can start to make the gauntlets look more mechanical and armored. Each shape is added to build it into what looks more like a gadget.
