Zadig & Voltaire This Is Her! is one of a duo of scents, This is Her! for women and This Is Him! for men. It is not so easy for me to describe this olfactory experience now without becoming abusive. To a certain extent handcrafted, it reminds me of the smell (not taste, therefore without mint) of Tictacs which have long been lying in the glove compartment. Tictacs are coated with carnauba wax and perfumed with a sugary synthetic vanilla. And if there's one thing I can't stand. For a trial run, 30 ml is sufficient. The Eau de Parfum is also available in 50 ml and 100 ml. The larger the bottle, the more expensive it is. Overall, it's a little cheaper with the male counterpart This is Him! too. However, this has a simple reason. The men's fragrance is an eau de toilette. The concentration of fragrances is therefore lower than an eau de parfum for women. The scent is therefore less intense and does not last quite as long. Conclusion Twelve hours ago I was a test sniffer in the city and was attracted to the minimalist cool white bottle of 'This is her'. I expected a state fragrance of a particularly fine, refined kind. There's a thousand and one fragrances that 'she' or 'he' wanted to get to the heart of the matter. That's why I was curious about this vision of the subject. From the bottle I expected something clear, aquatic-fresh, probably a bit unisex, I had already seen the advertising photos and found the models for both fragrances (her, him) quite androgynous.

So too with the perfume. In a market saturated with fragrances that often smell similar or remind you of something you’ve smelt before, This Is Her! smells refreshingly unique. This is Her! is from the oriental floral fragrance family. Because of its scent silhouette it is an ideal choice for day and night, and can be used in a timeless way. It has a magnificent fixation on the skin and is extremely long-lasting, keeping the scent alive for many hours on the skin without retouching. This fragrance is dedicated to women from 20 to 40, women with character and a broad view of freedom. My feeling is that if you like the rich muskiness of Jean Paul Gaultier Classique then you’ll also like This Is Her. Although, there’s definitely more depth to the Zadig & Voltaire fragrance. Somehow it smells sexier, richer, spicier and more exotic than the Jean Paul Gaultier. I find the chestnut gives the fragrance again something very special. He makes on the skin a beautiful development through. Sillage and durability are top.Instead, this is a scent that I fell in love with from the very first spray. Its warm, enveloping richness hit me and within seconds I was hooked. Convinced, instantly, that I’d found my forever, signature scent.
