Since the beef knuckle bone is so large, we recommend they are only given to large and medium-sized dogs. These bones, sourced from grass-fed beef cattle, offer numerous benefits for your dog's dental and overall health. The bones within these bags can vary, some will have the knuckle and marrow bone still attached to each other, some will have just knuckle bones and some may have both.The more the bone dries out dry, the higher the chances are of them breaking into bone fragments and splinters.
Cooking bones completely alters their structure, the process itself makes them brittle and, therefore, more susceptible to splintering. Those chews and bones contain many preservatives, unnatural seasonings and are generally baked (for long shelf life), all of which can make your dog very unwell. Not only will a knuckle bone keep your pup entertained for hours, but it will also clean their teeth naturally as they gnaw away. I really like these better than raw bones because you are less likely to get those sharp shards breaking off.Importantly, these bones are never bleached or smoked, preserving their natural integrity and flavor.
