This updated version is compatible with the Makita 7.2 'Cluster' style batteries, and the 10.8v/12v Max CXT and 14.4v/18v LXT 'Slide' style Li-Ion batteries. The DMR110W is not compatible with NiCD, NiMH or G-Series batteries. It can be powered by AC mains (cable included).

Batteries: 7.2v Cluster / 10.8v/12v Max CXT / 14.4v/18v LXT Li-Ion Batteries (Excluding Makita 'G' Batteries) If your device has version V4.3.17-1C02E installed, you can follow the steps and install the update. Press “Advanced” again and turn the volume control 2 times to the left and confirm the input at “Software Upgrade”. Under System Type, see if you are using a 32-bit or 64-bit.
