The DC30 was launched some time ago, and we now have cord free machines with up to 40 minutes run time. Wash the filter in cold running water only, twisting and tapping it out and leave it till it's 100% dry, around 24 hours, before reattaching it to the machine and retesting it. At some point later, I returned to see that, as per instructions, the Dyson was no longer charging - because it was fully charged (charge light showed clear).

Wipe the mesh around the cyclone with a clean dry cloth or brush and tap the top of the machine where the filter attaches firmly with your hand till dust stops coming out. Obviously, this is unacceptable. I havent had time to even register it yet. I’ve used it for not more than 6 minutes.
