Bumbu is an ultra-premium rum crafted from top-quality sugarcane expertly selected from eight countries throughout the West Indies.

Our Rum is distilled using two continuous stills, at a historic Barbadian distillery founded in 1893, whose traditional rum stills date back to 1840. This bottle follows the same centuries-old recipe, blending rum with authentic ingredients sourced from the Caribbean.

It is made in the Caribbean island of Barbados, known as the "Rum Islandï", where the spirit originated over 400 years ago. Bumbu XO is aged up to 18 years in Bourbon barrels and finished in Spanish sherry casks made from white oak grown in Spain’s Andalusia region to achieve a beautifully balanced and endlessly sipping rum. Distilled in small batches and blended by hand, BUMBU reveals its heritage and craftsmanship with every sip. This is a favourite among rum enthusiasts and is recognisable by its distinct bottle and unique blend of Caribbean spices.On the palate, Bumbu has notes of cinnamon, roasted nuts and all spice – blended by hand to achieve a mild sweetness and light smooth finish. Bumbu Original has no artificial colours or flavours used, just the finest sugarcane, pure spring water, and oak. It’s made at the West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados and adheres to a 400 year old recipe used by local sailors of the time. This 5 dram premium Rum Tasting set contains 5 different 30ml wax-sealed drams of premium Rum from some excellent producers.The Rum is stylishly presented in a heavyweight glass bottle that is a work of art on its own, adorned with a tarnished metal "X" in front and map of the Caribbean across the back. Produced in their sister distillery in Panama, Bumbu XO is a rich, complex blend created from scratch by Bumbu’s Master Distiller. The palate is medium bodied with notes of cinnamon, roasted nuts and allspice, leading up to a slightly sweet, smooth finish. After the distillation and aging process, Bumbu is blended with all-natural native Caribbean ingredients, rested, blended again and finally bottled and corked.
