Nafousi’s own turnaround is one she touts as evidence of manifesting’s all-encompassing power. The privately educated daughter of a wealthy businessman, she claimed she never felt happy: “I don’t speak about my childhood, but I never grew up knowing happiness or joy. I wasn’t shown an example of how to be happy.” A significant part of the book is an attempt to explain this odd idea, showing how ‘inner’ states could create ‘outer’ outcomes.

There’s always someone doing more drugs or partying harder than you, so it’s easy to hide in that space for a long time,” she told The Post. “I truly thought I’d never get better.” Nospraust mērķi un doties uz to- tas skan daudz labāk vai ne?! Patiesībā nav svarīgi, zem kādas definīcijas jūs sev to iebarojiet, svarīgi jau ir savas dzīves uzlabošana. If you're one who needs practical exercise to power up your manifesting approach, you might love to go bottomless with this. As you know, manifest is about attracting things and visualizing something in your life. However, the author emphasizes the things that you 'attract' should make your life feel content and fulfilled.A meeting of science and wisdom, manifesting is a philosophy and a self-development practice to help you reach for your goals, cultivate self-love and live your best life. I loved the way this book is created, with apt examples, exercises, questions for readers and a practical approach, it's an inspiring read that will help you while you manifest. With activities to do alone and with friends and family, plus a daily journal, this incredible book will give you the tools you need to manifest your best and most brilliant lives!

This idea is a misunderstanding of Science. The central problem for modern science is that reality seems to behave differently at large scale, and at quantum scale. The central insight of science is that you cannot generalise truths from the quantum realm to the realm which we are familiar with. But this is exactly what the book does. So, it is appealing to pseudo-science. Bailes un šaubas bieži izliekas par draudzenēm: tās apgalvo, ka sargā tevi no neizbēgamas vilšanās, patiesībā traucējot atklāt visuma pārpilnību." (32.lpp.) This is wrong, and its implication is repugnantly unfair when it implies blame for victims. Sometimes the world can be against people, whatever they do, and no matter how hard they try to change their circumstances. This is because the book is wrong. 'Inner' states do not directly cause 'outer' states. So, people cannot be solely responsible for thinking, visualising or manifesting themselves to success. Referring to it as a trend can do a disservice to it, because people then don’t take it seriously,” Nafousi notes. “I’m not here to make anyone believe it,” she adds, but rather to lead by example. "Where I’ve come from in two years is unthinkable," she told us in 2022, "and I truly attribute this to manifesting". Whether you want to attract your soulmate, land the perfect job, buy the home you have always wanted, or simply find more inner-peace and confidence, Manifest will teach you exactly how to get there...This is the time we should be clear with our visualization. More details, the better! That should consider your first step. The author presents seven unique stages with some critical questions in each stage for you to answer. Cik bieži tu, aizverot sociālos tīklus, jūties sliktāk par sevi un savu dzīvi nekā pirms to apmeklējuma?" (118.lpp.) I think this book could be eye opening for someone who isn’t familiar at all with self love, gratitude and visualisation but perhaps those who are this book might not offer too much. Manifesting is a way of using your own mind to become your BEST and HAPPIEST self. Anyone can manifest, and I want to help you learn how with FOUR SIMPLE STEPS that will teach you to:

The focus on meditation, mindfulness and the importance of managing your thoughts, makes some good and significant points. These are evidenced ways of improving people’s feelings and attitudes and it is helpful to remind readers of them. The word “manifest” is so overly and misused that it didn’t appeal to me at all. I have always seen it as a term people use to attract “material things” they want without any action at all. However this book took you through a step by step guide of some important self development steps such as gratitude, limiting beliefs and self love that allow you to become magnetic to attracting what you deserve. This is an ugly moralising elitism which early Christians dismissed as ‘Pelagianism’. It makes the person solely responsible for their own outcomes (59%). So, it has the consequence of meaning that victims are essentially to blame for their bad outcomes. If victims were to just try harder with their visualising and manifesting, then they wouldn’t be suffering bad outcomes like being a victim of abuse. If they tried harder, the universe would be rewarding them by transforming their lives with manifested positivity. Whether you want to attract your soulmate, land the perfect job, buy the home you have always wanted, or simply find more inner-peace and confidence, Manifest will teach you exactly how to get there . . .

Despite all that, I love her ways of talking about emotion and comparison in step six. As we always live in a culture of comparison, envy/jealousy must be something that takes a toll on us. Dealing with hostile emotions is a process for us to learn to validate those feelings so that they won't negatively impact our manifesting process. Although step six just sounds verbal with no practical practice, it does pique my attention with her inspiring words. I feel grateful that I came across this beautiful book. A book that now stays on my bedside table, and I look up to it every time I am in a tough situation. This book has been everywhere amongst the influencer community I wasn’t sure what to expect and thought it would be a lot of “hype”. I bought this book for research purposes as apposed to wanting to learn about manifesting, however I was pleasantly surprised. Written by self-development coach and 'Queen of Manifesting' Roxie Nafousi, this book is the essential guide to anyone and everyone wanting to feel more empowered in their lives. In just seven simple steps you can understand the true art of manifestation and create the life you have always dreamed of.
