About this deal

For ensuring that the print sticks to the flex plate platform, I also roughened it with 80 sandpaper and a random orbital sander - now the prints adhere super to the flex plate, the flex plate adheres super to the platform. It worked nicely – easy to apply and my biggest fear of the resin dissolving the adhesive showed up false.

This is a version of my regular Mars 3 build plate holder that uses a magnetic mount instead of the 2020 extrusion mount. It is not possible for us to draw any conclusions about you, and any data collected as a result will never be passed on to third parties. However, since the platform is now thicker, it may not be able to do so (the clearance of the platform axis may also be insufficient). apart from the relevelling I changed NO settings on the printer and set it of to print an adaptor for an Airsoft RIF, 56 minutes later and I have 2 adaptors firmly stuck to the flex plate, gave them a push (wearing gloves) and they were firmly stuck to the plate, grabbed a tab to remove the plate as as I pulled the plate off, one adaptor popped off into my hand, the other stayed on, I gave the flex plate a slight bend and the other adaptor popped off. Once levelled I put a Solov VAT on the printer added some resin and went to print, I ended up with a grinding noise, so removed the print end and releveled, did this a few times but kept getting the grinding noise, when looking the print bed had moved so it was tilting up at the front. but mostly you always have to adjust this depending on the model you want to print to compensate for factors such as contact surface, height and weight.

However, others say that during the 2nd print the adhhesion failed and the magnetic and steel plate did not stick to the bed reliably. As far as I see there is now plate exactly for the size of the Mars 3 (at least not here in germany). Made of high quality aluminum alloy, it is non-deformation with good flatness, easy to install and clean, and durable for long-term use. The home function of the printer does not ensure that the last set zero point is directly approached.
