About this deal

I couldn't put this book down as it was a real page turner with great characters and a storyline that pulled you in and I can't wait to read the next book in this series. Blake was fresh and fun trying to find herself Theo was a brooding mess and Blake put him in his place which i definitely enjoyed seeing! Theo has had feelings for Blake for as long as he can remember but he can't cross that line even though it is getting harder to keep his distance and also doesn't do relationships or commitments.

He was remorseful for his behavior, He learned from his mistakes and tried making up things with Blake. I love the brothers best friend trope, and almost want to rate this higher because it had that trope, but no, you want that trope, there’s so many other books that’s better. The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products.

Even when she transferred to the college, he wasn’t so nice to her, and told her she wanted wanted there.brothers best friend😏 this book was better than the other but also kinda cringey :/ like please do not ask me out in some huge public display because i will give you a side eye and run the opposite direction. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves to feel so connected to the characters that you feel everything they go through! Blake is strong-minded, spirited, innocent, and stubborn, whereas Theo is controlling, bossy, jealous, and overprotective of Blake.

Though Blake and Theo had obstacles to overcome, they did the hard work and in the end became stronger for it. I loved how fiercely protective he was with Blakely, having her best interests at heart even if he didn't always show it in the right way. These characters were very well written, even though I wanted to strangle them a time or two throughout the book. I definitely recommend this for everyone, but especially those who enjoy v-card romances, new adult romances, and college hockey romances. There was even happy tears I can’t believe how he can be so clueless but know exactly what he needs to do to get the girl. I swear there aint nothing better than male desperation and the way it was described in Don't Let Me Go was amazing. She never listened either and the hypocrisy of her going on about communication when she was constantly shutting Theo out. This brought kind of a fresh feel to the "im in love with my brother's best friend" Troupe and was dual POV.

She ends up in the same college as her brother and Theo and after seeing what he acts like she decides its time to move on with one of his hockey team mates. Theo had me smiling and ready to knock him in the face but then smiling right after with his crazy love declarations. They have been crushing on each other since she turned 15 and they've both been fighting their chemistry. The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars cause I wanted more of their time as a couple, they fought with each other for like 90% of the story so it would have been better to see them a lil bit more as a lovey dovey couple yk, lmao Blake and Theo would have cringed given the entire time of their bantering.
