About this deal

We followed the instructions and sprayed the product on a windscreen before a frosty night to see the outcome the following morning. This is where Demon Ice claims to help! Demon Ice advertised that it 'prevents overnight freezing'and is an ice preventer. Sounds great doesn't it! Another popular de-icer by CarPlan and also one of the cheapest on the market is their Blue Star aerosol formula. According to the brand, it’s specifically designed to defrost windscreens and melt ice fast. I was really disappointed with this product, I had high hopes that it could banish that painful task of de-icing your car on a cold frosty morning. Nevertheless it didn't perform much better than a cheap can of de-icer you can get for a quarter of the price and because of this it's not going to be on our shopping list. The acting performances were adequate, I suppose. Not that I really cared much about the characters or the dialogue in the movie, because they were every bit as pointless and bland as the storyline itself.

Unwanted Food or Drink Products - Once supply conditions are broken, there are a number of factors outside of our control that can affect the quality of a product. Therefore perishable goods such as food and drink cannot be returned. The storyline in "The Ice Demon" was just downright utter rubbish. This was nothing more than a slow paced drama laced with horror elements. And if you sit down to watch "The Ice Demon" with the intentions of watching a horror movie, like I did, you will be sorely disappointed. The storyline and the narrative was pointless, slow paced and just had zero appeal. You have to feel a bit bad for Shout Factory, they couldn’t have been expecting world events to go the way they did when they made the deal to release the Russian film The Ice Demon. On the other hand, they haven’t pulled or delayed its release until more favourable times. That and the fact they’re releasing it at all after inflicting Russian duds like The Time Guardians and The Widow makes it hard to feel too bad about it.Overall, the Polar De-Icer does exactly what it says on the tin and it’s a fast and effective way at removing frost or ice. It isn’t the cheapest but it’s a high quality option that won’t disappoint. The bottle says simply spray on windscreen the night before and leave. Demon Ice stays right where its been sprayed and prevents ice from forming overnight. I stumbled upon the 2021 Russian horror movie "The Ice Demon" by random chance here in 2022, and of course with it being a horror movie that I hadn't already seen, then I needed no persuasion to sit down and watch this movie. And I must admit that the title and the cover was interesting. For reasons of hygiene and safety, personal grooming products, cosmetics or items of intimate clothing cannot be returned. Couldn’t detect any smell, or stench if you will, of propaganda or political subtext; it’s an innocent (and ultimately quite forgettable) movie. On that level I can understand why Shout gave it a pass, even though the timing is still wrong – probably not in the least for them, it’s difficult to see the movie getting a warm welcome right now with their audience.

Writers Natalya Dubovaya, Ivan Kapitonov, Artem Mikhailov and Svyatoslav Podgaevskiy had every chance to impress and entertain me here with this movie, as I had never even heard about it.Shar herself is a great main character as well. She’s given a strong voice throughout the narrative while the game offers players plenty of opportunities to input their reactions to the events Shar finds herself involved in. Scrolling through the text until you reach a decision point is the crux of Demonheart: The Ice Demon’s gameplay, and, fortunately, decision-making opportunities frequently offer a surprising amount of variety in how they may alter a story scene or character dialogue. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t have controller support, but the controls are easily accessible with the computer mouse. While the poor script is responsible for most of the problems with The Ice Demon, the voice acting in the dubbed version I saw, the DVD and Blu-ray will have a subtitled version as well, was truly awful. Characters frequently spoke in an emotionless monotone rather than show any concern for what was going on around them. It’s hard to scare an audience when the characters themselves aren’t even worried. Demonheart: The Ice Demon is a new addition to developer Rolling Crown’s Demonheart series. The story begins with protagonist Shar taking her first steps toward a promising lifetime opportunity. Growing up, Shar trained under her powerful mother as a white witch specializing in the healing arts in their remote village. Correspondence with a skilled witch named Eniri S’yke paves the way for Shar to work as her apprentice. However, before her mother can divine the potential outcomes of the apprenticeship, Shar finds herself on the shore of Eniri’s faraway city, eager to take on her new role. However, things within the S’yke household are not precisely the same as what Eniri described in her letters, and Shar soon finds danger surrounding her. Away from home and her mother’s guidance, can Shar figure out a means to survive and hopefully escape? Or could the pulling of her own heart lead to doom? Note: where there are two credits for a role, the second is the voice performer in The Ice Demon’s English language version. Two hikers caught in a snowstorm struggle to pitch a tent and get some shelter. As they do they make a grim discovery, a body buried in the snowy ground. It turns out to be the body of Matvey (Andrey Marusin/Alexander Gross, Row 19), and despite having been there for ten years somehow he isn’t dead, just in a coma. Despite a creepy, if very derivative, morgue scene in the final act The Ice Demon left me cold. It spends way too much time and energy on a conventional drama/thriller storyline before transitioning to weak horror tropes. Even an appearance by the Siberian Pinhead wannabe on the poster couldn’t have saved this film.

Due to courier costs we are unable to deliver to the following locations - Guernsey & Offshore Islands, Isle of Man, Jersey, Isle Of Wight. Speaking of its otome leanings, I give Demonheart: The Ice Demon credit that the characters and their potential romance routes are far more realistic than one might initially expect from the genre, to the point of being somewhat unsettling. The characters are all immensely flawed and often do frustrating things as a result. For example, Eniri is so power-hungry that she’s blind to the genuine danger she has allowed into her home. Esmius is manipulative and twists the truth simply because he can. Sirath is arrogant, admitting to several past foolish mistakes. Nissa is hiding a hurt that has warped into something dangerous and ugly below the surface of her seemingly friendly disposition. Honestly, Zhan is the only character presented as downright amicable, but he sadly doesn’t get nearly as much screen time as the others. The darker, more realistic tone certainly makes for exciting romances. However, at least in the case of Sirath and Nissa, their routes help shed some rather insightful development onto their characters. The enigmatic Esmius is an exceptionally unique case, though you still gain some insight into his mysterious character through his route and the others.

Conclusion

It’s not until The Ice Demon’s halfway point that anything odd happens. Matvey’s body occasionally flops around on the bed and people start hallucinating. In a scene that’s more funny than it is scary Misha imagines Tatyana riding Matvey’s convulsing body. A later scene of her screaming and tossing people around is actually laughable. Needless to say, finding Matvey alive causes plenty of strain in Tatyana and Misha’s relationship, especially after she decides to care for him at home. For Ksyusha it’s all just very confusing as she was too young to have known her father before he vanished. The circumstances surrounding his survival and the fate of the women who found him only add to it.

Overall, the CarPlan Blue Star is the best budget de-icer that comes in a large aerosol and provides fast acting de-icing on all car windows and windscreens. Prestone are a highly reputable brand in the UK and they are well-known for their premium products. Their Rapid De-Icer is a great example and it’s able to melt ice down to -40 and it works in seconds. The brand themselves even state that no other de-icer on the market works faster than their formula. When he went missing he left behind a wife Tatyana (Olga Lomonosova, Night Nurses/Tanya Sands, Pokémon) and a young daughter Ksyusha (Alina Babak, Gogol. Viy/Deneen Melody, Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo). They now live with Misha (Alexei Rozin, Baba Yaga: Terror of the Dark Forest/Christopher Corey Smith, Toy Therapy: Your Childhood Has Issues). Below is a list of the best car de-icers that are suitable for all glass and work in temperatures as low as -50. The Best De-Icer It didn't really work. For a light frost we found that it did make the ice a bit slushy but still required scraping off. For a heavier frost it didn't really touch it.If you are looking to beat the morning deicing routine, the CarPlan Demon Ice is the best night before deicer. Unlike similar alternatives, this particular formula even doubles up as a normal deicer and this can be very useful. The one other thing it won’t save you from is a completely snowed-over windscreen. For those instances where you’ll need a set of snow chains, a full-on snow brush will be a more useful bet. There isn't much worse than going outside in the morning and finding your car iced over, its one of those tasks no one likes to do.
