About this deal

The banner shows illustrations of colourful monsters that represent different feelings and emotions. Have your learners use their crafts to put on a puppet show- retelling the story or recreating a new storyline entirely! What you sent looks like a great picture of the resource, but the actual sheets that our students can use would help a lot.

com/howto/guide/how-make-paper-mache) or if they would prefer to draw the Monster, this link to different Monster templates might help - https://teachingideas. Not only has it got warming pictures that are illustrated in such a creative way, but Anna Llenas takes re-cycling to a new level - she has used cardboard and paper to create such appealing illustrations that greet you on the layout of every page. Are some feelings darker (like pressed down harder when drawing) and what feeling are more prevalent? The displays give children the language to help them describe and express how they are feeling which is such an important part of their emotional development. Once they’ve matched everything correctly, they can spend time coloring in their worksheet and, in small groups, discussing when they feel certain emotions.

Pop it on as they engage in a coloring activity or simply use it as a brain break and invite learners to sit back, relax, and enjoy!Have your students identify basic emotions as they match assorted colors and emotions to the correct monster. It compares anger to a fire you might want to stomp out, sadness to a rainy day, and calm like leaves swaying in the wind. Our range of interactive "edutainment" games are built with one purpose in mind: to make learning FUN!

The daily check ins can be set up in many different ways, including, labelling pots and children putting monsters in the pots (as seen in the pictures) or children can attach pegs on the synonym cards. They might even want to put the different pictures into separate jars or containers, just like the Colour Monster. Dens are great for all sorts of things - a bit of quiet time, some imaginative play as the den becomes a magic cave or a spaceship or even just a place to snuggle up for a story!

A little girl takes the monster by the hand and gently helps the Color Monster untangle and separate out all of these feelings and put them into jars. At a point during the day, an adult will offer to discuss how the child is feeling, particularly if the emotion is a negative one.

Here’s hoping this activity brings you and your clients some superpowers to help untangle those messy, chaotic, and confusing feelings! For the adventurous, they might want to mix in some jelly, glitter, spaghetti or even some shaving foam to experiment with different textures. The children must help the monster fill his jars by drawing people, things, or places that make them feel each of the feelings identified.Time to get creative outside (weather permitting) – why not create a mud kitchen to allow the children to explore natural resources as they invent new and wonderful recipes for an outdoor café! As a team we had to sort all different art resources by colour to help create our wonderful display.
