My couple of little negatives with the boat are that there is no volume adjustment and so it can get a bit loud after a while and that Peekaboo's hideaway door comes off easily which of course once my daughter discovered, she has to pull the door of each time she plays with the boat now!

Once absorbed, ideas like ‘up and down’, or ‘round and round’ or ‘over and under’ begin to be used by children when they progress to making marks on paper. The iconic Fruit Tea Machine - push the pedal to see the fruit tea rise, helping children to understand cause and effect. Great BigHoo, Toodloo, Chickedy, Chick and Peekaboo are ever curious as they enjoy their adventures in their big red boat. I haven't deducted any stars for the couple of little niggles I have as the set is fantastic and very much loved and played with. Helping to encourage imagination through pretend play, little ones will have endless bath time fun as they move the boat around the bath. Learning elements within the Big Red Boat reflect the educational content of the show itself, providing children with reinforcement through simple word learning. Opening doors and hatches as well as electronic sounds and phrases can all be activated from various points on the boat.
