This feed comes in granule form which can then be mixed into your soil, to make your ericaceous plants thrive. Mulch for both new and established plants, consisting of compost, shredded leaves, pine straw, and other organic materials, is often sufficient to supply the nutrient needs of azaleas. A good ratio is to estimate the distance from the center to the outside leaves, then double that distance past the dripline to apply fertilizer.Synthetic slow release fertilizers and inorganic fertilizers are other options, but I don’t personally use them because I prefer naturally derived products, whenever possible. If dry concentrate or concentrated solution falls onto plants or surfaces, rinse thoroughly with water straight away.
