This is a little offtopic, but I've had four Billy bookshelves, and every single one of them has broken. The great part about this Billy bookcase hack is it's very inexpensive, and you have many molding options to choose from to match your style and space. So, we used 2 x 4” wood cut at an angle to make up the space which we anchored both to the wall and to the shelf.The piece of trim in front of the corner shelf is cut with an angled saw, and then the corresponding piece of trim on the straight shelves is also cut at an angle so it fits together like a puzzle piece.
