As part of the Belfast Maritime Festival, this unique guided 'Glider' tour will explore the maritime heritage of both Dundonald Cemetery and Belfast City Cemetery. This unique tour begins at Dundonald Cemetery at 11am on Saturday 25th May, calling at a range of headstones commemorating those involved with RMS Titanic, including the man who launched the great ship, as well as two survivors of the disaster both buried in unmarked graves. Your guide Peter McCabe will then catch the Glider to Belfast City Cemetery where the second tour of the day, starting at 2pm, will call at the final resting places of others involved in the design and construction of the Titanic, including three workers killed in the ship's construction as well as Edward Harland, Viscount Pirrie and Messrs Workman and Clark. 'Titanoraks' are welcome to attend either or both tours (£5 per cemetery), and/or catch the Glider with Peter between the two. (please note that the cost of your Glider ticket is not included).
