Because it’s a powder foundation, I can skip my finishing powder and move straight into applying my blush and highlighter.

I still have hopes for this product: maybe KVD can make it less creamier to get rid of the white cast and make it last better on oily skin.Also, I used the precision powder brush, so can you imagine if I did some serious baking with this powder? I advise not shaking this though because the larger holes means the powder flows a little too freely into the pot and when you open it, well, it ends up everywhere. But these powders are solid in terms of longevity and making the under-eye area look brightened and smooth. I like that because I’ve tried powders like Sephora Bright Set Loose Finishing Powder and disliked the texture. The powder does not settle into fine lines (yay for the 30+ ladies) and makes the under-eye area look very smooth.

The downside of this is that Light 44 is the lightest shade, so if you are any fairer than NC15 or NW13, this powder will be too dark for you. Kat Von D’s innovative formula uses delicate mica powders rather than the heavy, chalky binding ingredients found in other powders—reducing. And here’s Petal: I first applied EX1 Cosmetics Delete concealer in D300 and then applied Petal on top.
