In Conversation With Padraig ReganMedbh McGuckian’s poetry is all-encompassing, from the richness of the interior to the vastness of the world. She questions the constructions of power and gender, and at the same time offers a unique perspective on what it is to be a woman in Ireland today. Moving between the dream and the actual, presenting us with both worlds so vividly in beautiful, complicated language.Medbh has published 15 collections of poetry and has won numerous prizes, including The Rooney Prize, the National Poetry Competition, and The Forward Prize for Best Poem.Come and hear as Medbh reads from her work and is in conversation with Padraig Regan, as they talk about her multifaceted career.Padraig Regan is the author of two poetry pamphlets, Delicious (Lifeboat Press, 2016) and Who Seemed Alive & Altogether Real (Emma Press, 2017).
