About this deal

Bosch has a great range of mowers and they cater for all needs. Their CityMower 18 is ideal for smaller gardens where the needs are limited. I believe this is a great choice for people who want something that they can take out of the shed and get to work.

All of the other mowers from Bosch operate on a higher 32 voltage; the CityMower 18 is the only one that works with an 18v battery. However, the advantage of this is that it can power share with plenty of other 18v tools from the brand. This includes power tools like drills as well as other garden tools like hedge trimmers. The handle features a built-in 3-step lever control that enables easy cutting height adjustments with a range of 30-60 mm You also want to think about what the lawn mower will do with your clippings. Almost all mowers come with some kind of collapsible collecting box or bag and, the bigger it is, the more grass you’ll be able to cut without stopping to empty the collector. However, some mowers offer the option of a mulcher, which breaks apart any clippings into tiny pieces that can fall on the ground where they decompose and feed your lawn. This also makes your lawn more drought-resistant – and you never need to worry about emptying any box or bag.

At the time of writing, the EASYMOWER 18V-32-200 is the most affordable cordless lawnmower that Bosch offer, being substantially cheaper than the CITYMOWER 18-32 which preceded it, and with which it shares many similarities- both being PowerForAll 18v rotary mowers with a 320mm rotary blade, grass combs and an all-plastic grass collector. As I mentioned earlier, this is the most basic model from Bosch. In addition to this, the CityMower 18 also features the smallest blade size at just 32cm. This is perfect if you only have a smaller patch of grass that you need to keep looking neat and tidy. The mower is made for lawns measuring up to 300m² and while it is small, it does do a very favourable job. Their expertise is very apparent in their present range of lawn mowers and garden tools as it includes products, which no other garden machinery manufacturer produces. The Rotak electric and cordless lawn mowers demonstrate the company's willingness to innovate with features like grass combs that enable you to mow right up to the lawn's edge and rechargeable lithium-ion batteries that have virtually no weakened performance after extended use. The Bosch CityMower 18 is a cordless lawn mower with 3 cutting heights ranging from 30mm to 60mm, a 32cm cutting width and a 31 litre solid grass collection box. This mower is supplied with 1 x 4.0Ah 18v battery that charges in around 95 minutes and is designed for lawns up to 300m² in size. One of the things that stands out on the entire range of Bosch mowers is that they are designed for user comfort. This is evident when we look at the ErgoFlex handle included with this mower and others across the range.

This is a green Bosch mower like many that have come before it, but a touch smaller. It uses Bosch’s 18V Power For All batteries, which can be switched between compatible tools, and are smaller than the common 36V variety, enabling the mower to shave off some extra size and weight. Being battery operated means that as well as enabling you to work wherever you need to, without the worry of electric cables you won’t have the hassle of messy fuel refills to spoil your day. This smooth, cordless Bosch CityMower 18V-32-300 makes mowing the lawn effortless and of course it’s quieter than its petrol counterpart, lower on vibrations and noise and is 100% fume free, allowing you to appreciate the aroma of cut grass, as nature intended. The Bosch CityMower 18V-32-300 is a lightweight cordless lawn mower that provides expert lawn care in urban gardens. Convenient to use and robustly made, it features a powerful 18 V battery with an advanced battery management system that ensures extended run times. With its generous 32cm cutting width and 31 litre grass collector, this model is ideal for lawns of up to 300m2.

Bosch was created in 1886 in Stuttgart, Germany by Robert Bosch who formed the business to specialise in the manufacture of electronic components. Bosch have always had a willingness to improve on their already established designs, right from day one. It's this ethos, which has allowed Robert Bosch GmbH and Bosch Garden Tools to maintain the enviable place in the market they hold today.
