About this deal

With carpet, hard-floor and Eco modes, the H-Free boasts up to one-hour of battery life and has three lights on the floor-head for spotting dust and debris in the darkest corners. Temporary is the basic mode you’ll be used to from other cordless vacuums: you hold down the trigger button, and the vacuum kicks in for as long as you keep pushing it. The Hoover Dual LED DustLocator system finds hidden dust not only on floors but also on bookshelves and behind cushions, as it combines frontal LED floorhead lights and with the AUTO LED light on the handheld. Switch between 90º and 180º cleaning angles with a flick of the wrist, so you can clean around objects, into corners, reaching narrow spaces with ease.

While we weren’t that impressed with the dusting brush, we found both the crevice and upholstery tools really powerful (less so in eco mode, of course), which is great if you’re regularly grappling with pet hair and skirting board dust. Upping the power to Turbo and pushing the head into the skirting board sucked up more of the flour, but it still fell short of picking up all of it. No need to tire your hands by constantly squeezing a trigger : just push the button once to keep the power on. Hydro hubice 2v1 se může pochlubit výkonem 80 W pro současné mytí a vysávání, aby vám ušetřila čas a zaručila vynikající výsledky úklidu bez námahy.

metres to tackle even the hardest-to-reach places, including the ceiling, which, of course, we had to try. I didn’t find the C300’s resistance to back and forth movement too onerous on carpet, but our flyweight reviewer Frankie said it was hard work and she ended up with an achy arm after a while. So when we were asked to try out their latest creation, the cordless H-Free C300+, we jumped at the chance. Press the button marked ‘Power Control‘ on the back of the unit though and you can pick up the pace, thanks to the more powerful Turbo setting.

In First Look content we give products a thorough once-over, checking that the features are as good as they say and that the product functions as it's supposed to. You get the stick bit obviously, which is aluminium rather than plastic, which adds to the quality feel. The H-Free 300 doesn't quite make it to that list, but we will be adding it to the cordless vac list. However, this is less of a necessity due to the Hoover H-Free 300’s ability to stand up on its own accord. The H-FREE 300 lithium battery provides a runtime of up to 40 minutes in Auto mode with non-motorised tools and 25 minutes in Standard mode with main motorised floorhead. Suction power is also really good at the top setting, although it does drop away on those other lower settings. This model also comes with a single battery, which can be charge in-situ or removed and charged separately. And, as such, it’s important to invest in a vacuum cleaner that can help you clean up after your four-legged friends. The handle is sufficient to make longer cleaning sessions hassle free and comfortable, while you can easily reach the ‘Power Control’ button on the back of the unit with your thumb to raise or lower the suction level.

The shaft attaches and detaches with the help of a quick release button, as does the main brush head. Our test model came with a red anodized finish on the aluminium main tube, while the colour scheme overall is a blend of red, dark grey and silver, topped with the iconic Hoover logo on the main body. rpm and achieving 65AW of suction power, for effective dust and debris pick up on all kinds of floors. In addition, there’s a great foldout starter guide, which shows you how to get up and running in no-nonsense fashion. When the bin started to fill up, the extra weight made it unstable on a few occasions, causing it to fall over. The grey cloth filter inside the duct box should be cleaned with a brush to remove dust each time you empty the dust container. To reach those difficult-to-clean areas under chairs and sofas, the Hoover’s handle tilts and reclines very close to the ground, allowing the head to get under low obstacles. Moving to a hard floor, I sprinkled a teaspoon of rice onto the floor, then ran the cleaner through on Medium mode. For darker areas, there are three LED lights on the front of the floor-head although, strangely, they only come on in carpet mode. Engaging the brush bar in Eco mode, cleaning is passable on carpet but run-times are 10 minutes or so less.

First, when the wand and motorised floor brush are attached, the vacuum cleaner can stand up by itself on a hard floor (or very short-pile carpet). For best results wash the filter in warm water and allow to dry thoroughly before putting it all back together. Meanwhile, the rollers on the cleaning head aren't particularly substantial but they served us well enough during testing.
