This remarkable release is created using carefully selected sherry-seasoned oak casks, giving the whiskey its distinctive flavor and deep colour. This Mortlach 20 Year Old Cowie’s Blue Seal is the oldest expression in the Speyside distillery’s core range. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remainder of the Terms shall continue in full force and effect. It brings a light, fruity and smooth flavour profile that has lots of tropical fruits, vanilla and honey. However, it’s essential to keep in mind that its cost is reflective of the craftsmanship and dedication put into creating this exceptional whisky.

It is a rich and powerful whisky that is made from spirit matured exclusively in first-fill seasoned sherry oak casks. The Mortlach 16 Year Old Distiller’s Dram sits in the middle of the popular Speyside distillery’s range, between their 12 and 20 Year Olds. During this time, the whisky absorbs flavors from the oak casks, such as vanilla, spice, and caramel.

The layers unfold with each sip, revealing subtle hints of oak and honeyed sweetness that linger long after you’ve finished your glass. These complement a palate of plump raisins, oak, apricots, juicy strawberries, and old-fashioned toffee candies.
