I wanted to create a smaller but more detailed X-wing and make it the blue Rogue One version with Anton Merrick. During the battle, Merrick flew as Blue Squadron leader in a T-65B X-wing starfighter until he was shot down and killed by a TIE Striker. Status: Antoc Merrick is a retool and repaint of 2019's TVC Luke Skywalker (X-Wing Pilot) (VC158) figure. Local military forces loyal to the old regime were effectively disbanded, and the pilots of the Air Cavalry were extended invitations to join the Imperial Navy. Antoc Merrick's X-Wing Fighter doesn't bring any newness to the line (it's nothing more than a repaint), but it's a standard vehicle that the toy line should never forsake.

I absolutely love where this sculpt has ended up from the concealed landing gear in the nose, to the removable flight controls, which greatly facilitate seating the pilot while holding the flight yoke, to the extendable targeting computer, and finally to the concealed proton torpedo. Toys feature premium detail and design across product and packaging inspired by the original line, as well as the movie-inspired collector grade deco that fans have come to know and love.Hasbro took 2019's TVC Luke Skywalker (X-Wing Pilot) (VC158), gave it a new head, and repainted it in the colors of Antoc Merrick's blue/green pilot uniform.
