Some years before, Clooney and Gerber were at a bar one night reflecting on how they still hadn’t found their ‘perfect tequila’ despite all the bottles and brands they’d tasted, so doing what any sane tequila-drinking multimillionaire would do, they decided to create their own. Iv bough my 4th bottle of Casamigos blanco this year , I make a cocktail with a good glug of Casamigos blanco, a squirt of passion fruit syrup (a good one ! Tasting this with close attention paid, while reading the MoM detailed notes above, was like reading a film script while watching a movie: everything above (for me, at least) is evident in the drink. Finally, Casamigos Blanco tequila is bottled at 80 proof and sent to us in the UK so we can enjoy this ‘Hollywood-level’ premium tequila for ourselves.

Tasting Notes: Aged for 7 months in American white oak, this is soft, slightly oaky with hints of caramel, dried fruits and cocoa, it has a sliky texture and a medium to long smooth finish. that we didn’t have to mix and could drink straight or on the rocks, and could drink all day long without being hungover in the morning. In a 2018 interview, Gerber explained how they ‘wanted one that didn’t burn going down, that was super smooth…. Rested for two months, this wonderful Blanco has tasting notes of citrus, vanilla and sweet agave, with a long smooth finish.Casamigos Blanco Tequila is a smooth, light-bodied tequila perfect for sipping on the rocks thanks to it’s sweet and clean taste.
