I’m investigating this as we speak, so, at the moment, I would hold buying any of those two gloves if you’re after CE Level 2-KP gloves.

All in all, if you want maximum venting performance and sublime tactility in CE Level 2-KP gloves, the Five SF1 gloves are unmatched as short-cuff CE Level 2-KP gloves. For the money, the Alpinestars GP Pro R3 gloves offer some of the best value for your money. Period. These gloves are incredibly practical for just about anything, which is rare in racing-oriented motorcycle gloves. Notwithstanding the Level-2 protection afforded by the GP Pro R3 gloves; the High Speed gloves or the Dainese Full Metal 6 gloves are CE-certified as Level 1; ergo the protection offered by these latter spectacular gloves is lower than the GP Pro R3 gloves.Frankly, the Alpinestars GP Pro R3 gloves are extremely versatile in form and function, and you will benefit tremendously from owning the GP Pro R3 gloves as one of your (or your only) go-to daily riding motorcycle gloves. You can count with one hand the amount of sport-oriented motorcycle gloves that are so versatile and functional as the GP Pro R3 gloves, let alone so protective.
