I knew the basics of "how to" but wanted something a bit deeper as a reference guide -- and this book has really fitted the bill. I sometimes found that this bok lacked some depth so I used it in conjunction with "Systematic Approaches to a Successful literature review" which has a more formal way to it but explains things in more depth.Although it is more suitable for quantitative studies, it has still applied to my qualitative-based systematic review, so I would recommend it to anyone, no matter their background. There were dark times when i got stuck and felt like giving up, but a quick look at this book usually got me back on track.
