About this deal
I've given it a 4 based on my own personal cooking skill and how unintimidated I am to try any of these recipes, as well as the relative ease of finding ingredients. Used two swedes instead of fennel bulbs, pork loin instead of belly, Dijon instead of wholegrain and skipped the garlic. I served this bowl with the flakes that were definitely cooked, and then tried to lower the salmon back into the pan in as much of 1 piece as I could, but by this point it was breaking up everywhere. I've been so impressed with this, and a number of recipes have become firm favourites, particularly those where Gordon is bringing in Asian and Middle Eastern favourites.
It smelled bad, it was slimy, had white crap on it… one end had green mold on the tip where if you tapped it, you could see spore clouds fly off of it.I ate a small bit of the salmon and the sea bream raw (eat raw fish at your risk only please), and I had no stomach cramps or illness afterwards. The Butternut Squash and Chickpea Curry and the Porcini Mushrooms with Cheesy Polenta caught my eye and I think I will try one or both of these recipes.
