The film includes singers such as Lizzie Higgins, Ray Fisher, Jane Turriff, Sheila Stewart,Belle Stewart, Cathi Stewart, Betsy Whyte, Willie Scott,Hamish Henderson, Tam Reid, Dave & Betty Campbell. Doc Rowe is a renowned British ethnographer and film maker from Torquay, Devon, who has spent many years conducting ethnographic fieldwork across the British Isles. Doc Rowe was awarded an honorary doctorate in music from University of Sheffield in 2002 for his research work into vernacular culture and traditional music, and in 2005 was awarded the English Folk Dance and Song Society's Gold Badge for his documentation of traditional Song and Dance.Doc Rowe will be at the screening an will take part in a Q&A following the film
