About this deal

Where are the various streams today? Their overall attendance numbers in England, as measured by successive English church censuses, have begun to decline:

Michael White in The Guardian has said that it would be wise not to redefine marriage – a man very well known for speaking his mind. He said that it is universally accepted that a female egg and male sperm is needed to see the continuation of the human race. Gerald Coates (25 November 1944 – 3 April 2022) was an author, speaker, broadcaster and the founder of Pioneer, a neocharismatic evangelical Christian network of churches and forums, established to "develop new churches across the UK and engage in mission globally." [1] Work [ edit ]Restoration 1" ('R1') followed the more conservative teachings of Arthur Wallis, Graham Perrins and Bryn Jones, and included such figures as Terry Virgo, founder of the Newfrontiers network of churches, Barney Coombs of Salt and Light Ministries International, and Tony Morton, formerly of Cornerstone.

Gerald Coates was universally known as a witty, gregarious and warm-hearted guy. Greatly loved, he will be sorely missed by all who knew him, and by a great many who didn’t. Fleming, John Bind Us Together: ...To Be the Church That Jesus Really Wants (Seaford: Thankful, 2007)We also want to honour Christine Noble, who graduated to glory the day before Gerald, on Saturday 2nd April. The Learning Community is a group of eight local churches who meet every six months for prayer and planning for vision and growth." {7} In fact Westminster Chapel actually declined and numbers dwindled in the months andyears that followed Coates' prophecy.Thisparticular prophecy was one of a number of false propheciesmade by Gerald Coates. On April 20 1995 before 4,000 Christians at Spring Harvest, Gerald Coates, leader of the Pioneer network of charismatic churches, delivered the following prediction to Dr. R.T. Kendall, pastor of Westminster Chapel. Dr. Kendall believed it and circulated a letter containing the text of the prophecy to every member of his home congregation (dated December 16 1995). The full text of the prophecy is as follows:

My wife, Caroline, and I had only known of Gerald from a distance until 2007 when we were invited to do some work with the Pioneer team. We worked with them for 18 months helping them restructure for the future. At the end of the process, Gerald announced that he didn’t feel equipped to lead the network into the next season. The group began to discuss leadership options but no conclusions were reached. Towards the end of the conversation John Noble suggested: "Why don’t we invite Billy and Caroline Kennedy to lead the network?" We laughed. They all laughed. Later, at dinner, Gerald turned to Caroline and I and simply said: "When John Noble mentioned your names something leapt in my spirit. I think you are the next leaders of Pioneer." That was our ‘Gerald moment’. Our lives haven’t been the same since. New Wine is currently advertising R.T. Kendall as a speaker at their 2017July event.{1} R.T. Kendall is yetanother hireling who has close connections with all of the above, as well as fraudsterMorris Cerullo, Trinity denier Tommy Tenney and false prophet Gerald Coates. Provide an independent and safe channel for anyone with safeguarding concerns related to Pioneer Trust or individuals who have acted on their behalf.Pioneer Trust, a charity which runs a network of evangelical charismatic churches, has commissioned a safeguarding review, following a complaint made against its founder and leader Gerald Coates, who died in 2022. It will hear concerns from people who have been harmed within Pioneer or who have concerns about the culture or safeguarding practice. In a statement, the Trust says it is not an investigation into particular actions of any specific individuals, but if it identifies a need for this it will initiate it. The Trust has not given details of the nature of the complaint, which was made in July this year, but it does say that the concerns “do not meet the threshold for referral to statutory services (e.g., the police or social care)”. It confirms “there is no indication that any person engaging with Pioneer is currently at risk, nor are the trustees aware of any concerns about the conduct of current staff or members of its leadership team”.

Andrew Walker distinguishes Roger and Faith Forster's Ichthus Christian Fellowship from the rest: "perhaps the most significant house church organization that lies outside Restorationism is the Ichthus movement." [4]It’s hard to be neutral when it comes to Gerald. Unafraid and unapologetic, there is no doubt he could cause one listener to become apoplectic over his apparent criticisms, whilst another would be on their feet applauding.
