About this deal

For this reason, Phanteks decided to provide you with a set of screws, just in case you did not already have a longer set. Diameter: 120 mm | Airflow: 55.4 CFM | Noise: 23.9 dBA | LEDs: None | Connector: 4-pin | Dimensions: 4.7" x 4.7" x 0.59" When I have left the Engine running for quite a few minutes the Fan comes On - runs for a couple of minutes then goes Off again - this process would repeat if I left the Engine running - obviously controlled by a Thermostat. Can those with air con please confirm if one or both fans run when the air con is turned on.

Buyer's Remorse - Authorization to return the unit must be made within 30 days from receipt of product. After slowly reducing the fan speed and noting the noise level at each step, we were able to create a noise-to-performance graph. I repeated this bring the Engine to 2000 revs for 5 Minutes process with almost exactly the same result - the Fan operated this time for 28 seconds and 18 seconds respectively.FDB fans can be mounted both horizontally and vertically without issues or reduced longevity, unlike traditional sleeve-bearing fans. Innovative herringbone grooves are applied to the fan bearing, recirculating and distributing oil naturally between the rotor shaft and bearing to maintain stable and silent operation at high speeds. All I've done so far is switch Phanteks' 2x cases fans that are basically variable voltage PH-F140MP fans to T-30 fans on similar temp to rpm curves in normal daily use. Resulting temps and noise results are slightly in favor of T30 over PH-F140MP. I haven't pushed system hard enough to get them 1100rpm. At same load 2x 14Os were at same speed.

Testing Phanteks’ T30-120: Dethroning Noctua’s Finest

I am not aware of my fans running and on those occasions that I have the bonnet up and engine running - I have never seen both fans running - I assume that the fans are turned on with a high temperature stat... Regular & Reverse airflow models available: With regular and reverse airflow models available, the D30 fan allows for the perfect configuration without obstructing the fan blade lighting effect. To be honest, petrol engines run a lot hotter than diesels, so yes, when idling and stationary, I would expect the fan(s) to cut in every few minutes for 30 seconds or so. Different manufacturers have different strategies when it comes to temperature gauges. In the old days, they used to have actual numbers on them. Some had letters with "Cold Normal and Hot" on them. Gradually, the fashion has come to just having a blue and a red bit on the gauge - and more recently, just a red bit. The idea being that coolant temperature is supposed to fluctuate a bit in normal use, but the manufacturers don't want to worry the vehicle user unnecessarily. The car will have a sensor for the coolant temperature (possibly more than one). It will let the coolant temperature rise until it gets to the point where it is deemed unacceptable (say 98 degrees, or whatever) and will then supply current to the cooling fan. The fan will then run until the temperature has dropped to an acceptable level (say 93 degrees) and stop the fans. It will just keep doing that repeatedly if the car is in heavy traffic because, as you say, there's no airflow over the radiator. The fact that the gauge doesn't move just means it's been designed not to register relatively small temperature fluctuations like that. And, of course, such fluctuations are within that the manufacturer deems as "normal", so although the temperature is changing it is still (as far as the gauge is concerned) "normal". On this one, we saw that the M25s managed to keep a relatively good noise-to-performance ratio, comparable to the Silent Wings 4 HS, but failed to match the one set by the Noctua NF-A14.

GLASS CPUs ARE COMING.

The different new feature are nice to know but they can`t be the only thing and they can't save a bad preforming product.
