About this deal

Hopefully Covid will allow us to see Scotland and the NC 500 within this year or next year latest and this time your book will be with us. Must-know Details: Detailing campervan facility locations, the best restaurants, cafes, and bars, accommodation options across the route, from hotels to campsites, and over 110 of the best sights to see on the North Coast 500.

As my husband came from theNW Highlands we have travelled the Wesr coast since 1973 when the roads especially the pass of the cattle and Docherty pass were very very narrow and the drivers were more respectful. The book is full of stunning pictures of the wonderful beaches, castles and other places of interest to visit along the NC500 it is well set out and easy to follow. We have just completed the NC500, the book was a god send, it pointed out places to visit, eat and diesel stops as well as finding our own, we didn’t do much planning, we are both 66 and we had decide now was the time to go, so we borrowed a tent of our son and off we went and as we went round the coast the more we got into it, what a amazing place, it has taken us 10 days luckily we have no time restrictions, we are now in Skye thinking what a fantastic adventure, something we have never had the chance to do before. Whether you are planning to travel the NC500 or have already done it this book will serve as a guide and an excellent reminder of your travels. I had been following you on YouTube but had no idea you had a book in the pipeline, it wasn’t till you made your epic trip to the publisher that the penny dropped.

Full of superb pictures, and useful information it inspires you to travel the route in a responsible manner.In-depth, relatable, and picturesque: Destination NC500 guidebook is 220 pages of the most in-depth, relatable, and picturesque guidebook on the market. However when it arrived I got into it very quickly and started in my mind , my own trips on the nc500 using the book all the way. I especially like the multitude of photographs many of which are superb, I share an interest in photography and drone exploring so will use this as reference material. It was lovely to receive our copy of Destination NC 500, I love the extra effort for the tiny details of having the book wrapped.

We have over the years visited many parts of Scotland and experienced all weathers, even trout and salmon fishing on North Uist in a Force 7 in a boat – must have been mad as we broke the oar and had to drift to shore and walk back to the car.Produced with care: During the production of this guidebook, the authors spent two months living on the NC500 route, turning over every rock and leaf to ensure that all the best-hidden sights and attractions that the NC500 has to offer are included. A brief informative outline of the history of the region sets the scene well and I for one have been educated in a productive way.

I really recommend you follow Gemma and Campbell’s social pages too – their YouTube content is amazing. The information is extremely helpful for Motorhome owners, as we are, and what with the wonderful photographs, well, it’s given us even more incentive to travel and visit the NC500 as soon as we can find a fortnight or so, spare days to do so.We would have been very happy the have had your book with us because then we would have been able to see even more and more fantastic spots of this wonderful part of UK/Scotland. A winner even if not doing the NC500 for just the awesome photographs of the stunning locations contained within the book made from quality products.
