Each wine was vinified separately then carefully and proportionately blended before ageing in French oak casks for 6 months. I generally prefer white wine but always have a bottle of this at home to bring to dinner or for guests who prefer to red. Lindeman's Since 1843, when Dr Henry Lindeman hand-crafted his first wine vintage, Lindemans has continued to consistently create award-winning wines, making it one of Australia's most respected and enduring winemakers. It’s got a lovely deep red colour like a good Cabernet Sauvignon – cleverly reflected in the deep autumnal tones of the packaging – a strong Cabernet Sauvignon aroma, and a good wine-like taste.

Vigilant spraying, remaining dry conditions and vineyard fruit inspections, resulted in good quality white and red fruit flavours and outstanding red colour development.

Henry Lindeman planted his first vineyard in the Hunter Valley in 1834, in what is now one of Australia’s prime wine-growing regions.
