About this deal

Also, the included charging case was smaller than I expected! You can easily store this in a suitcase or even your own saxophone case which is great for touring or travels, which is far more convenient and far less cumbersome than bringing stands, cables and wired mics in large cases. The fact that the receiver and transmitter charges in the case and all three is chargeable by USB-C cable is very convenient, considering many other electronics also use this same charging method (especially android phones, some ipad models!) Personally, I was a bit disappointed with the sound of this mic compared to the others. I was hoping there would be more of an improvement over the first generation of this mic that I reviewed a few years ago. The Cloud Vocal setup does include a lot of features like onboard effects, and the ability to mix in other inputs, but the microphone itself is not meeting my expectations. Opting for a model that has a limited range. The range of a wireless microphone refers to the distance it can transmit the audio signal without experiencing any drop in quality. Choosing a microphone with limited range can restrict your movement on stage, as you may need to stay within a certain proximity to the receiver. This can be particularly problematic for saxophone players who often move around while performing. There is no compromises when it comes to audio quality. NUX B-6 delivers professional, high-resolution 24-bit/44.1kHz audio, and the frequency response range is 20Hz - 20kHz.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases. After Michael recorded on each mic, we blindfolded him so he wouldn’t know which one we were listening to. AEA R84 Ribbon Mic

Michael is no stranger to wireless mic setups, so I thought “who better to help me test these out?”

Before doing the gigs, I gave it a run-through in my studio. I worked with the EQ and different settings to see what sounded best with my soprano, tenor, and alto saxophones. The transmitter of NUX B-6 comes with a flexible yet sturdy rubber-wrapped clamp mechanism. It can be attached to the bell of different types of saxophones firmly. As you spend more on your wireless saxophone microphone system, you will generally see improvements in two areas. Firstly, you get a better microphone, which means a wider dynamic mic range and a smoother rounder sound.

I didn’t ask anyone to send me wireless microphones, they just keep showing up and after this video I’ll probably find some more in my mailbox.
