The all-round suspension on the chassis provides a comfortable ride for baby and parent and the flip-over handlebar allows you to navigate over rough terrain with ease. When you baby reaches 6 months of age, transform the travel system into a pushchair with the seat unit, which can be either inward or outward facing, and boasts a multi-position recline and leg rest for comfortable travelling. In a nutshell: so far, so good. The Ooba looks fantastic, is a pleasure to push and does the job. Full marks. The day it arrived I was pretty excited. It matched my carpet! Look at that print! The beautiful blues! You can’t deny this is one good looking pram. I set about unboxing and building it, something I managed on my own and with minimal fuss (score one Ooba, the Bugaboo was not this easy).

Easy to transform, the Ooba can be used in carrycot, pushchair or infant car seat mode (Port car seat available separately).The Cosatto Ooba Travel System is a brilliant ‘all in one’ pushchair option, with a carrycot, car seat and a ‘big seat’ for toddlers and older babies. It has an adjustable handle feature and big shopping basket, and comes with a changing bag, foot muff and rain covers for both the seat and the carrycot. The Ooba carrycot comes with a raincover which fits really well. It is also covered in the small Ooba leaf logs and looks great when in place.

It is striking! The chassis is colour coded to match the wheels – even the tyres are white, matching the chassis, the whole thing just looks ‘right’. With instructions, the system is easy to set up (albeit time consuming) and interchanging between all the different options is effortless. The chairs are roomy and comfortable, and neither the car seat nor the travel system (as a whole) is too heavy. Kerbs can be a challenge but this is more likely a result of wheel positioning than weight.

I love that it’s also a high pram, making me feel empowered navigating pavements and parks alikes and also offers Alexander a great view too. At the end of the dropdown we have listed our template range – they are made to measure as the mattress is a bespoke size. The Ooba also comes with a matching nappy bag which fits into the generous basket underneath the buggy, along with your toddler if you so wish (this probably isn’t recommended. Probably). The carrycot is suitable for all weather conditions, with its UPF 50+ sunshade protection hood and a raincover with zip. The Travel system we have here comes complete with Cosatto’s Hold car seat. It is a good looking seat in coordinated colours. You have the option of a belt or ISOFIX base and there is a babynest insert for very little ones.
